Well u can take it like this in lets say this
Arms in 10 attacks will do more damage then fury
While Fury will do more damage in about 50 swings
Arms is all about burst damage
while Fury is sustained damage
About the 70 arms raids personally i dont think so
Raids are about damage output not ways to counter CC.
While arms does have some beneficial things like imp heroic strike, impale, and bloodwish
Fury basically just increases yur dmg output

In my guild our best DPS is a 33/28/0 spec warrior, his DPS on a mob is about 1200, so i wouldnt say arms cant dps...

DPS meaning damage per second, 1200 damage in one second is pretty good sustained over a fight :D

for raids and such they will take an equally geared fury warrior over an arms, the only reason you should raid as arms imo is if you are into hard core arena and just wanna check out kara for fun, but arms is a pure pvp specc mosts classes have one thats great for pvp but not so great for pve.

Wrong, in any 25-men the first DPS warrior is a 33/28warrior for the BF debuf, his personal DPS wil be lower yes but the raid DPS wil be a lot bigger, not only wil al melee DPS do 4% more DPS, also the tank wil do more DPS wich results in higher magic DPS cause the treatcap wil be higher. Fury is a 10-men spec, for people who dont min/max or if there 2 DPS warriors in the raid.

I preferr fury, cuz arms is a 2h spec and fury is a 1h spec, and we all know 1h hand have more dps. Like the others said arms is instant dmg, but fury is a substainable spec. if i were to spec a warr i would go with fury.

i prefer arms from prot but getting to abou lvl 70 i went fury
so do what u feel but i suggest arms over fury cause i hated doing at first now i do lotta damage and take little

I like 2h MS. I used to like fury because of the crazy flurry speeds. However, I really enjoy the double attack that comes with sword specialization in arms. It's more versatile (to me) because I seem to do better in pvp than when I was dual wield spec'd and it does respectable dmg in pve

To bad that after that you have to wait for 6 seconds, please, he asked for DPS, not for burst. And a 3kBT+1800Autoatack+1800WW in 3seconds as fury aint bad either.
