ok man the best combo for a druid is thus balance mostly with a little bit of resto ok now keep up with me case im going to give you a full talents board set up here

3 points in lunar guidance VERY IMPORTANT
1 point in natures grace IMPORTANT
3 points in moonglow MILDLY IMPORTANT
5 points in moonfury VERY IMPORTANT
2 points in balance of power MILDLY IMPORTANT
1 point in moonkin form VERY VERY IMPORTANT
3 points in dreamstate

that would be 47 points in balance

and that my friens is the best talent combo for a druid now it doesnt exactly have to go like this but at lvl 70 this how your talent board should look enjoy

Nice, especially with the mad leet gear that gives you an extra 3 talent points in order for you to reach both Force of Nature AND nature's swiftness. Good build bro.

Force of nature takes 41 talent points Nature's swiftness takes 21 talent points (41+21 = 62). You can't have it both ways.

Nature's grasp has no place in a oomkin's build. not practical for pve, and oomkin's don't pvp

Natures grasp is useless, and wastes points on a chance based cast, when they could be spent on +dam talents in your tree. Im also concerned that the list posted earlier doesnt feature any points in subtlety, which is important to reduce your PvE threat as boomers generate it in ridiculous quantities - even with BoS buffed on you, natures grasp in endgame raiding is obvoiusly useless as you shouldnt have threat in the first place - and if you do, someone will be there to help.

Whoever it was who said Balance doesnt PvP well, isnt far off the mark either - if you get caught by a rogue, as a boomer your basically pumped - course you can barkskin and cyclone or barkskin and entangling roots, but if he's chose you as a target, your going down, if you dont get help from your friends.

In my humble opinion, Balance is a force to be reckoned with in PvE and Raiding, in PvP - if your not seen by the enemy your also pretty lethal, but when you start getting attention your in a hard place.

I just thought I'd say that I have done very well using a feral druid build. If you're planning on starting a new druid I would really recommend it, you can tank, dps, & heal if you priest dies in an instance. Everyone is always looking for a tank for instance runs.

I may change spec & go to moonkin sometime after I hit 70 (currently 61) just to try it out, but I found that I have been able to level very quickly as a feral druid. I stopped playing my mage at lvl 41 and 2 people I play with were the same. Started playing this new druid and I hit 60 the same time they did... and for 1-40 we didn't do much of anything together except for one run through BFD to get me some good gear)

moonkins or i should say DOOMKINS are the best at pvp and if ur making fun saying ' best balance druid in private server' show me what you can do huh? i bet u have a lvl4 druid going LOOK AT ME IM STRONG and getting owned by lvl 1's.

+ if ppl look for a pvp class they get a doomkin in.

yea sure you can take 10 70s at once in private server, you are pure nub.

to let u  know im not a noob like all you ppl.. i dont play private servers i play pure WoW so i dont kill 10 70's at a time with cheating...

Dude your bound to get some shit if you say your the best druid on your server and are only 68. At 68 and boomkin, you did NOT kill 10 70s at once, unless of course they were afk. Be realistic.. are we really gonna believe you killed 10 70s at once? no. The leetest geared s3 super player couldnt beat 10 lvl 70s that are decked in green gear, so.. yea.

dude your retarded, you couldnt take on 10 lvl 70s at once if they had on white gear, and best on your server at lvl 68? psh let me know your server s i know which one not to make toons on, your truly a noob. but to the original guy who posted the thread... feral makes for pretty easy lvling by questing and such, and is also the shiznit for farming mats and such, boomkin also works ok for lvling and farming but a litle slower due to mana and such. but al clases are pretty equaly awesome, ive seen boomkinsone shot ppl with starfire, ferals semi stunlock ppl and bled them to death in like a matter of seconds, and ive seen resto druids myself take on 5 ppl in wsg and still live till help got there a long time later. my suggestion (like i said "my" suggestion not fact) is that be ready to respec alot and try to get sets for all talent builds, i personaly have my feral set (my best one as i like feral the most and spend most of my time as feral) a good resto set to heal for guild and such, a tank set to tank, and a small balance set for when i like to message around, someday ill geta good balance one but i have a dps set in feral and it is not neded yet. so there it is, hope it helps. good luck with your super let druid bro
