Not sure what you mean...

The Bloodfen Burrow is at 31,66 and is on the map.

The drop rate is horrible on this. You only need five but you have to kill about 5X more than that to get the items.
Not a happy priest today.

Actually i would say drop rate is perfect :) Its good to get some exp while doing the quest to, not only when you turn it in... But I Would say theres to little monsters doe.

But atleast you get XP for killing them.

I killed bloodfen raptors and got 100% drop rate on the rocky mountain just east of the actual cave. Took me about 3 minutes to do the quest :D

i don't see whats wrong here.. 34,70 kill raptors around area.. got all 5 feathers in 5minutes.

The drop rate sucked, but it's great grinding xp. Also try doing http://thottbot.com/q11184 a.k.a WANTED: Goreclaw the Ravenous. They are at 32.66

I just did this quest and had good droprate to the left of the little creek/lake near the cave. See map above)Killed eleven raptors to get my 5 feathers.  All raptors lvl 38-39. I also had the "Wanted" quest for the big blue raptor so stealthed into the cave area which is crammed with raptors with the big blue at the back near the cave entrance.  I just slipped aound to the left along the hillside and back into the area to the side of the cave entrance.  Easy root/swarm/moonfire/starfire/finished with cat, took him down pretty fast, grabbed his loot, and stealthed out.  If you want extra XP it would be easy to pull some of the raptors along the edges as you go. The big guy didn't bring anyone else to the party.  This was a fun quest imho.  Oh, lvl 44 Nelf Druid Bal/Feral.

I got all 5 in 7 kills on my 44 mage. Easy quest.

100% drop rate, or so I found anyway.

make sure to kill goreclaw while ur doing this quest to save urself the trouble. he is the big raptor in the middle of the bunch of bloodfens

I did this quest solo as a 39 druid its not that bad

100% drop rate, got feathers at every kill.

Most raptors are alongside the mountains to the west of Mudsprocket, perfect drop rate there.

i gatta say the drop rate sucked but good for grinding at a lvl 39 :D

It's kinda obvious why some have a terrible drop rate and others get what they need in 3 minutes.  If I killed the raptors in the area where the name of the burrow came on the screen, I got feathers.  If I wandered a bit wide and killed them in "Dragonmurk," I got either nothing or raptor meat.  Stay in the area that says "Bloodfen Burrow," and you'll finish the quest quickly.
My problem was I ended up on the sheer rock side of the burrow and couldn't get up to the cave.  That's why I'm here, getting the info on how to approach the cave.

Need:  5 x Bloodfen Feathers
Kill:  Bloodfen Razormaw and Lashtail = 80% droprate
Found: At The Dragonmurk, straight WEST from Mudsprocket, or at Bloodfen Burrow North/west from Mudsprocket.

I was lvl 38 Priest and hav no problem kill them.

I found a bunch at 34,70 (west and slightly north from Mudsprocket) as well as at the Bloodfen Burrow (just north of there) at 31,68. Got about 50% drop rate for the feathers.
While you're here (31,68), you might want to do WANTED: Goreclaw the Ravenous.

This Quest isnt hard at all i finished the quest in like 5min just east of the cave i got 100% drop rate for these feathers
