Gauntlet strategy: Split your raid into three groups:

    1. Any Paladin + 1/2 AoE classes + 1 healer
    2. MT + 2 DPS classes + 1 healer
    3. OT + 1/2 DPS class + 1 healer

Sap/MC the lookout to buy some time (MC moreso than Sap) and engage and burn the first 2 elites as a group.

As the second is going down, position group 1 ahead of everyone and intercept the birds with consecrate + righteous fury. Group 3 should position themselves behind everyone and intercept the 2 trolls.

Once the first pack of birds are down, the MT goes and group 2 gets the next 2 elites. Group 1 goes ahead of group 2 and lays down a consecrate for the next birds. Group 3 polishes off their 2 trolls and follows behind.

Always keep Group 1 ahead of Group 2 and Group 2 ahead of Group 3. Move as a group keeping that order. Group 1 DPS helps burn group 2's elites while there are no birds, group 2's dps helps burn group 3's trolls while the MT is nailing down his elites.

Very easy. Once we got this down, we one-shot this every time with zero deaths.

Now to the clucking chicken. Step 1 is to go down to the landing on the stairs right below Akil'Zon's platform. Everyone pick a spot around the perimeter of that landing who is not melee dps or the tank. Try and keep one healer on the left side, one on the bottom and one on the right side. These will be the spots you stay and return to during the fight. Doing it here allows for a visual concept for everyone so they know where they are.

Go upstairs (making sure everyone is above the steps!) and have the MT engage. Everyone then runs onto the platform he stands on and takes the spots they were assigned. Let tank get hate, dps as normal.

Using bossmods, you will have a general idea of when the storm is coming. After the first, it may be off +/- 5 seconds. When there are 5-10 seconds to go, everyone come in slightly (5 yards in) and wait and dps.

When the storm hits, flock to the spot. Closing in slightly allows for anyone on the opposite side of the stormee enough time to run in before the big bolts hit. After the storm ends, everyone goes back to their spots.

Rinse and repeat. If you have a lock, have them seed the birds. No other dps on them! When the next storm hits, pop AoEs as birds swoop down.

That's all there really is to this.
