I would like to know quite simply (as i am noob to shaman) for an enhancement shammy what is the best sort of 2h weapon to use and what are the best stats to have?

i used 1h and shield till 40 then got DW no 2h for me just a wast...ppl might say 2h good for pvp but there not i can kill faster with 2 wepions with WF both at least 2.70+ speed

umm after u get windfury, a 2hander with a speed of roughly 2.6-3.2 is great but until then, u can get a shield to live longer or a 2hander to kill faster...either way tis a win-win situation for u

I don't know what lvl you're but enchancement is the best to lvl fast and good you should take DW and Dw spec and then good 1h weps for max dps (it's good to have rockbitter in offhand for more stabilizated Dmg (mainhand WF ofcourse) and SS says atk with both weps i don't know how they mean it but if it atk twice with DW its imba to have DW

1-10, Shield and a one hander.

10-20, Shield and one hander OR 2h. Depends on your style, but the 2H is beyond a doubt more useful in PvP at this level.

20-30, Tough call. I used Baron's Sceptor and Worn Turtle shell for a while, then switched to Arced Axe and finally Corpsemaker. Both are fairly common drops. With the 1h and shield, it took a while to bring a MOB down. With the 2h, it was much faster, but you really notice the loss in armor. In the end, I found the grinding faster with the 2h. Take lots of water though, your gonna me self healing alot.

30-40, I don't think there is much arguement that 2h is the way to go at this point. WF procs and crits are just nuts.

40+, DW. Lots of debate here; slow vs fast ect. Personaly, Ive had luck with faster axes in both hands. I don't see any difference in WF procs and 99% of the time I have my crit buffs up. This isnt saying there isnt a time and place for 2h, the only PvP item I ever bought was the 2h axe. Nothing in this game touches the pure, unadulterated awesomeness of a 2h'der criting off the charts with a WF proc on a holy priest.


BTW, my advice, RB on offhand, WF on mainhand.

spec ele until 40. then at 40 grab some nice 2.6+ one handers and DW them WF/WF. That IS THE FASTEST WAY TO LEVEL.
