i've looked everywhere and i cant get any tips or information anywhere on engineering for complete beginners,im lvl 14.....can people jus let me kno when the proffesion comes into play,what i need to start doing,whether i should be holding onto this copper ore and rough stone...and rough directions to places i need to go to accomplish anything....would really appreciate any help you can give...thanks,from noob nooberson.

Im a noob too, im lvl 13 gnome rogue. My proffessions are mining and engineering. The rough stone is used to make blasting powder, and you need to go to a forge and turn the copper ore into copper bars, which you combine with blasting powder to make dynamite. This is about as far as i've come, but i hope that it helps!

HELP!! Im in the same boat. I cannot find even the lowest of level schematics. Where do you get them? I have searched every engineer trainer and supply I have found and I cannot find any that I can use.

my problem now is finding a forge,think there is one in stormwind city in the dwarven section,but im a fair way away from that,in auberdine,after a friend lead me away to help do quests and lvl up quicker.

CS,did u pick mining aswell as engineering?If not then i think your gonna find it much more difficult.At some point you'll get a mineral detector you can put on your hot keys and it'll show rocks that can be mined in your immediate area on your minimap,you also need to buy a pick.
.Sorry if this is obvious,im still unsure about whats going on exactly....I think all three of us could do with an experianced player to come onto this post and really help us out.

Are them gems you sometimes mine from rocks useless apart from to sell to NPC's?

I'm only a lev. 18 but I've reached 150, Now I don't know where to go. But I do know that I used a huge amount of copper, Bronze,linen,wool and some tiger eye and moss agets, to get to 150. I did have fun with the things that I made and I love to gather so this is a gathering kind of profession. But I have a bank that is filled with 16 slot bags and I carry only 16 slot bags and I still don't have enough room for all the stuff you need. I have decided that I make only 2 or 3 no more that 4 of each item and I give away or sell everything that I don't use.
Most of the stuff sells well at the AH and I have an alt that disenchants so she gets everything else. I don't know where to go from here. I'm sure that there has to be a quest that's why I came to this web site but so far I haven't found any information about where to go. So your all right, there is no information out there. When I find out I'll come back and leave a message for all.

if you are close to the shore get on a boat and go to Exodor there will be everything you'll need.
