Does anybody know a good place to mine some silver? I am level 27 horde and my skill in mining is level 135. So far the most silver I've found is west of Sun Rock Retreat, Stonetalon Mountains (about 1 silver ore there)

Try Thousand Needles. I have found up to three veins there.
However the silver seems to alternate with gold at times

I found quite a bit in lakeshire. You do need to kill quite a few nasties to get to it but it is in a cave behind a bunch of blackrock guys.

One place I find is largly over looked for mining, is Desolace, 7 plus location to mine silver, mith mines iron mines tine and copper, and truesilver to boot.

I just run the edge of the area staying close to the mountains, monsters are up to lvl 45 at the highests, but by the time you make it around the map, most times I am double or tripple digits on iron and or silver trusilver and gold, and the ore respawns so its just a matter of how long yo ucan mine for.
