I think a warlock or a warrior would be good for you.  Warlocks have a minion who take most of the damage (after level 10) and you would be able to cast doT spells that do a lot of damage over time, so you will be able to survive.  But it takes locks a long time to kill something, depending on what spec you chose.  Mana breaks will occur often but its okay as you can keep surviving with a minion.  Warriors can survive due to massive amounts of armor and health and level quickly due to having rage instead of mana.  You wont deal as much damage, but you'll kill things quickly.  You should go with a warrior.
