It's not silver thread dress, it's silver dress robes. And, yes, it's not black but silver and a good second choice.

http://thottbot.com/i6682 is what my undead has on right now and with my guild tabard on (almost all black tabard) it looks almost solid black with red lines in it.  Perfect for a gothic wedding.

The only bad thing about wearing working robes for a wedding dress is that it's not special and just makes you look like you showed up late in whatever you had on that day. (my wardrobe changes daily, I don't know about you...)  This will work but if I ever did anything like this (I looked up the pattern caue I saw one an AH one day and wanted to make it if I ever learned tailoring) I would wear the white on or ask a tailor for a simple dress.

http://thottbot.com/i10053  Simple black dress works to.

There is a pink version of the white wedding dress called the Easter Dress.  There is also the Elegent Dress (same as easter dress, really) I guess it's optional to wear this if you look better in pink or are getting married in Org and want to blend into the landscape even more. ^_^

The presiding priest/ess can also wear the Woolen dress since it does bear some respeblance to an actualy egyptian priestess' robes. http://thottbot.com/i6787

The simple dress is just ugly enough to be a bridesmaid's dress and still slightly flattering. http://thottbot.com/i6786

Brewfest Dress, for another gothic wedding dress or gothic bridesmaid dress options. http://thottbot.com/i33863 (looks like a tavern wench or a gypsy to me)  Dancing girls can wear this if there is going to be a reception latter ^_^  Night elves, for the dance!

Lovely Black Dress also serves above stated purpose but is more for the honeymoon :^_^ http://thottbot.com/i22279 also comes in blue and purple.

Any festival dress would be good for the mother of the bride/groom, as it covers form neck to deck and looks very matronly.

Men are on their own finding out how to clothe their men at their wedding.  Any of the dinner suits would be good for the ushers or best man.

As for what guests wear: any of the numorous hanbok will work.  Having each race wear a color will make them match better in a lineup.  Search thotbot for that.

Have the guests take off head gear, weapons (anything that glows or sparkeles), capes and gloves. Headgear, weapons, and capes arn't worn to weadings anyway.  Sparkling stuff takes attention from bride and groom and it's all about the bride on her wedding day.  Anyone who's been married knows that!  Gauntlets come off in a show of good faith.  No fighting or dueling at weddings, not till the reception where everyone can get drunk and fight each other to see who all gets to dance with the bride ^_^.  Without their capes, hats, gauntlets or weapons, it shoud be more interesting duels.

Pets are either left at home or left on stay so as not to interfere with goings on.

Use AOE effects when bride and groom are walking down the isle.

Shoot off fireworks when they walking if you can't do AOE. Hunters use eyes of the beast to stear pets in intricate (coreographed) patterns around dance floor.

Simple or as complicated as you want it ^_^

    Have a good day.

    F***: Husband
    S***: Giving me away
    T*****: Best Man
    T****: Maid of Honor

P.S. Paladins are priest/ess of light (insert horde belief here), so they can marry people, right?

LMAO, this is too much fun but a good way to fill time when I'm bored with playing the game.
