It's up to you to pick between the two but here it is.

  Tauren Shaman:has 5% more hp i've heard, and has warstomp, this stunns enemies for like, 3 secs, and is on The HORDE! The horde (on Exodar server) i think has much better AH prices. Taurenalso look awesome. I had one and they rock.

  Draenei Shaman: HAs Gift of the Naaru, which heals overtime and increases every lvl, and costs no mana. Good at JC etc.

Blizz actually favors alliance, but anyways i'd find tauren better for pvp with their warstomp, pve i might say Draenei as 5% hp and a stun would not help much, and a small free heal to shake off some AoE damage would help.

the war stomp is so over powered, go for tauren imo

Sure, draenei have their happy little spaceship, and elephants, and freakish gyroscopic pillar of doom totems... but they're on the freaking Alliance. If you enjoy harrassment, rudeness, overpopulation, and waiting 30 minutes to get into a battleground, than go ahead, but I'll stick with my cow who shoots lightning from his fingertips.



...plus draenei's capes always look dumb. They're tails are freaking keeping the cloak from getting down...

i think tauren is the bezt shammy......they have 5% more HP and "WarStomp" so u can heal.....just stun then heal....thats why i think tauren is bezt in shammy

Whatever you do plz dont go ally they are over populated as every1 wants to be on the 'good' side even though horde frickin pwn ally all day :P also the draeni look gay wiv their poncy little hooves and tails taurens look so much beter and orcs

hey buddy listen here.... all players do the same thing it doesnt matter what race/alliance you are. it matters all about the person in front of that computer right now! all players act the same in different ways. stop saying that alliance/horde players are different by how they act. ANY HORDE PLAYER AT ANY TIME COULD MAKE AN ALLIANCE PLAYERS. same for the alliance. it all depends on the persons REAL LIFE personality. not their racials on the game. so stop making people think a pretty cool class/race/alliance is stupid because your just making youself look stupid. u may not think draenei/alliance are not cool but other people do. this is a site thats for help nub. grow up.

Actually they don't care about any of the races. They care about the players. they care about money. they care about the whole game put together. they could've less likely care about alliances. theres gms of both alliances... :)

Stats and racials don't matter... even though tauren's ARE better. You know what does? The fact that draenei have lame stats and their only racial is healing themselves, oh boy, a weak heal... shamans can do way better naturally anyway. You know what shamans do need? Something to stun people. And tada, warstomp. Enh shammies love extra health. And I'll be damned if you can argue that +5 to jewelcrafting is bette than +15 to herbalism :P

Gift of the Naaru is great early on, but it scales terribly.

Find out how progressed your server is.  Then roll on the side the most progressed. 

I personally am a Tauren shaman and love him.  War stomp has saved so many clothies and myself inside instances I cant count them.  Not to mention the Herb picking.  I made so much money on herbs.  Average outland herbs are 25g a stack on my server so yeah.

go for the race you like u can go with a cow or an alien but i like the aliens better sry cant spell the name of the d...e..d...r....i...a...n well anyways i like them becuase of there asome quest when ur only lvl 8 u get the bet quest ever but if u go with the turan aka cows there not very good as far as the quest goes.

Tauren - Stun + 5% more life ..

Orc - Stronger for 30 seg but lesser heal effect for 30 seg ..
and 15% chance to resist for stun effect

  im a draenei shaman and i pwn tauren im enh and so what if they war stomp i just use gift of naaru and when they heal themselves guess what your heal had just healed you equal to what they healed themselves i think that draenei shamans are the best but it realy just depends on the person

Though I have a Draenei shaman, I like how orcs look with the shoulders and they make better enh shamans than any other race.

i play draenei and i have no problem with them their stats r great and they make good enhancement shammy

Then i am to simply reffer to your posts/ctitique them in the same manner as i adress 'alliance'.

I personally have a Tauren shaman.  Having said that it's mostly because the rest of my toons are horde so i went that way to be with my friends.  I chose tauren for their increased durability as i intend to go Enhancement.

Having a lvl 70 Horde paladin i will tell you that the shaman has been far more accepted by the alliance than the paladin has by the horde.  I'm protection specced and most players that have spent much time as horde dont' believe paladin can tank as well as Warrior while Alliance progression raids use paladin as main tank all the time.  I see SO many Draenei shaman and truthfully don't think there's anything wrong with them.  If you dont' bank on the HoT as an actual "heal" more as a damage cushion (ie. cast Gift and go into battle healing while your'e taking damage) it's very handy.  It is crap for a heal but why bother shaman have way better heals that cast faster anyway.  Tauren are wicked with the war stomp and the extra hp/durability plus who doesn't like being the biggest kid in the playground lol.  Orc will definately do the most damage however as thier racials work for both melee and spelldamage so no matter what spec you pick they will rock it out.  Trolls are nice beings they can regenerate hp even during combat and later on with the right talents it's even improved on.  Combine that with an on-demand increase to cast/attack speed that scales with damage taken makes for a mean player of any class.  So, it's all up to the player. 


P.S. I, for one, think the draeneii females are FAWXY! 

I think Draenei Shammys are way better they get to have the gift of the naru...they look way cooler and also...in the battlegrounds the draeni shammys pwn everyone. The mount is like awesome too.

my lvl 68 draenei shammy is my first ally and i went him because i actualy want 2 walk into a ally city and not have to raid it and plus i like the saber cats an ne mount and i so wont that 2 more lvls so i can get the allys flyin mount
