I found that all the merchants in booty bay were at war with me.  It took me 1 hour asking as many ppl as i could before i managed to figure out how to change that so I could get my fishing book off "old man heming". he's in the bottom section 27.77..

After you get off the boat in Booty Bay, continue up the dock, it bends to the right.  You will reach a ramp that takes you up and one that takes you down.  Go down the ramp and he is in "The Happy Bobber."

Ok what i did is i went to booty bay at 164 after screwing around in ratchet and the oasis in the barrens. I fished to 174 then jumped on a flyer to STV and stayed till 180 right outside front entrance of gromgol base no different ratio than booty bay about 5 fish for every 1 point earned.  I am using a +2 to fishing tattered cloth gloves and a nats xtreme angle pole gotten from a quest up in hinterlands from a troll on the dock. This gives me a total of +27 so my skill at 180 is actually 207.  Took a fp back to booty jumped the boat to ratchet and fp'd to dusk wallow marsh.  Hauled ass to Nat Pagle and am fishing next to him till I hit 225.  Then I am going out to the island off of feralis plus whatever quest crap he tells me to do.  I brought 10 kegs of bourbon and 20 cherry ales from netherstorm for my time on the dock with Pat.

This is a great post.  No fishing trainers over 150 in horde cities either.

In Dark Shore at Abordine or whatever the little town in called along the shore/boat dock is a man that will give you a quest for fishing.  He also will give you a fishing pool 2.0 I think once u complete the quest.  He also sends you things in the mail from time to time.  You can stay there and lvl up your fishing pretty good.  If you are alchemist it is a great place to fish for oily blackmouths just look for the school of them along the dock and fish away.  There is a camp fire right there in town you can cook stuff and a mail box to unload stuff to another toon if your bags get to full or sale the fish to any of the venders there.
