If you guys want to put things into perspective, think about it this way.
-What if there is a ranged weapon with no stats on it, but it gives 20 hp/5 seconds and 8% movement increase. It also has good damage, dps, and a nice speed. Would you be mad if a warrior needed it for the 20 hp per 5 seconds and the movement speed, of course you would be. You need it for the dmg, DPS, and speed, right?
Now think of the sword, the reason why a hunter shouldn't take this over a warrior is for the same reasons why a warrior shouldn't take the bow mentioned above, the warrior needs the weapon for the dmg, dps, and speed, whereas the hunter would need it for the other abilities on the weapon.
Of course, I'm talking about random pug groups, if it were a group of guildies running, they would have their reasons to give it to whoever.
