hey am new to the game and i was wondering what macros where? i think they cast like a lot of spells at once and i think it would help me so yeah

What kind of macros are you talking about?

Mages do have a lot of instant cast spells. Or, if the mage is specced in the arcane tree, they might have a point in Presence of Mind, which makes all spell cast under 10 sec. an instant (which is basically any mage spell).

My Counterspell fx.

/stopcasting
/cast Counterspell

I want to know a macro that will allow me to cast all my buffs, something like this:

/cast Ice Armor(Rank 1)
/cast Arcane Intellect(Rank 3)

But it doesn't work, it says that my spell isn't ready yet, and just stops working after my first buff is applied. Can anyone help with this problem?

Leave the ranks off to cast the highest one you have.

You'll need to use the macro twice (by pressing or clicking on the macro in the action bar twice) - once for each spell.

hmmmm...i dont understand how they work.  I created one and just never got the idea of how to use it.  Could someone explain please? lol

I also need some help with a macro. Im trying to make a macro that will cast my water elemental's freeze spell when my pet is out and it's cd is up but at all other times cast ice lance.
Ive been trying out a few ways but every time it doesnt end up working. some help would be nice :)

i want to make a macro the cast pyro the fire ball the fire blast how would i do that? i have it as

/cast pyroblast /stopcasting
/cast fireball /stopcasting
/cast fireblast /stopcasting

just need to know what im doing wrong :D
