Hi guys, I know alot of you knowalot about this stuff and im to sure so if someone can help me that would be great...anyway in my talents tab I have only been upgrading my retribution stats since i want to do really good i nthe battle arenas...is it a good or bad idea??? or should I upgrade my holy and protection ones too???

Do you mean Battle grounds? Or Arena. 2 different things...

In BG's, ret is perfectly fine. In fact, they are great.. and although i may be biased since im ret, but it may be the best spec?

In arena, ret is now becoming better n better. Why is this? B4 s3 (season 3 arena gear),ret pallies have no resilience. This made them almost obsolete. Resilience is a defensive stat that basically reduces the dmg taken from crits and the crit chance of the person hittin u. In arena, where its almost always based on skill and gear, that resilience can mean win or lose. When u start to get some resil gear, you will realize how important it is, cant really describe it better than that =/.

As for spec'ing, TBH, that is ur call. If you enjoying DPS'ing n pwning ppl with one of the best BURST dmg dealers, then stay ret. If you like, or dont mind healing, you can try out holy. Prot is just as rare, well even more rare, than seeing ret pallies in s1 or s2. This is because you have almost no benefit to ur team at all. You cant do dmg, you cant cc, u cant heal. Just make sure ur up for w/e spec u choose cuz once u start spending AP (arena points) and honor on gettin ur spec gear, it would suck to make them up again to get gear for a new spec.

In BG's, its not as tough since u have others that 'help' u by makin the battles more crazy i guess u can say. Its more disorganized (pugs) and random. You dont have specific targets and u basically play ur own game. Altough team work is still needed, it is not completly necessary to win, whereas arena u do (unless u completly our gear the other team).

Also, back to healing... just remember that a holy pally w/o his/her DS (Devine shield) is a sitting duck. Once u pop ur bubble, u have no defense to gettin nuked. And if u do pop ur bubble, just make sure theres no priest around or that bubble will 'pop'.

if i messed up in talents is there a way to reset them or not.

Yup, go and talk with a paladin trainer. Select unlearn talent point (will cost gold) and all your talents point would be removed and available to replace them. Try paladin trainer in cathedral district in Stormwind or In military ward on Ironforge.
