Ive heard about this Fishing Tournament and i would Like to know any info there is about it?does it cost?what are the chances of me getting the lucky fishing hat?..Thank You to everyone that posts back.

well it doesnt cost and i have never gotten a rare fish so that means im not fishing in the right spots or its just realy hard to get one, the contest is every sunday between 12:00-4:00 i think and there is tons of regular fish u can turn in they will give u 20 silver in return but if u ever find a rare fish u get nice stuff.
the worse part is all the ppl cock blocking the fishing spots

How lucky can you get: This past Sunday I decided to do the fishing tourney for the first time, only to realize that I got the start and end times wrong. Logging on with only 15 minutes left to go I decided what the heck...might as well fish some to level up my skill a little. I headed out of Booty Bay and came upon a school of the tasty fish. First cast landed right in the middle and a few seconds latter, much to my surprise and delight, I pulled in Keefer's angelfish. Having read this was a rare fish previously, and realizing I only had about 5 minutes left to turn it in, I mounted up and hurried back to BB. With less than 2 minutes to go I turned the fish in and received the Lucky Fishing Hat as my prize. I know it's hard to believe, but I swear it really happened this way. :)
