ok people i've been wondering who would win a BM hunter or a Demo

i play a hunter but never had a 1v1 when fighting a lock so ya... 

Depends on gear and skill...

defenitly bm hunter i got a hunter and i can kill things 9 lvls abouve mine and i eat horde locks for lunch :)

having played a hunter and a demo lock, it's a pretty even match 1vs1. imo it really depends on what pet you have out if you're the lock. if the lock has anything out but felguard or succubus then you're in pretty good shape. the big thing is keeping your pet out and stopping the lock from dropping any nukes on you. The other thing is to not pop beastial wrath untill you get fear'd/howl'd. chances are a demo spec lock will be able to last more than 18 secs(a decend one at least) but prolly less than two mins so you want to maximize that spell since it is what will stop the lock from kiting you. If you're a lock and reading this, get fear off first thing so you force the hunter to pop BW. Out last the BW and then try to get the pet off you or use your succubus if u have it out to seduce the hunter while you take care of the pet then bandage and begining kiting the hunter.

The player who plays them is the most important.

u cant pop BW once feared...only before or after so by fearing ur not forcing them to do anything...either it works and theyre feared or they already popped it..but by casting it ur not doing anything..unless ur saying they pop it while ur casting fear..and that would be really good timing...and if thats the case u could just feign death if ur relying on timing

im bm and i make casters cry unless they stick to instant casts from me and my pet hitting them all the time...

my main is lvl 60 warlock and i restarted to play with my hunter again because i always lose to them.
when hes under fear u might have a chance but casting the fear will be diffecult... fear = 1.5 sec cast, fear against hunter = FOREVER

i am a BM hunter...when it comes in duel i 75%win
if it in PvP in STV ganking i win easy after i hiding on the trees and let my pet attack and i heal it ,then i show my self after 50%of my pet health is damged :P
