Wow, has no one else read the stuff online?
From what i've seen scanning every website i can about DK's, u dont need to b lvl 70-80 to unlock.
I think blizzard understands that not everyone hits that high or has the time. From what i have read, aporximately lvl 50-55 will be required to make a deathknight, the quest should be difficult but by enlisting aid from lvl 70 friends it should be fine
Once again, not everyone has time to hit lvl 55, so not too many DK's will pop up, and ther are a lot of lvl 50 noobs. Trust me, when ppl play the DK for the first time, at least half will have no idea how to use him and will be demolished. That should be enough to discourage them and make them return to their other characters with their tails between their legs.
I agree with the dranei and blood elf comparison, and unlike for the DK, there was no lvl requirement for blood elf and dranei.
Furthermore, if u need BC expansion as well as the wrath of the lich king, then even fewer people will have access to the Death KNights
