From what I can read you have to be lvl 35 and for Alliance, go to Theramore to do a quest in the hospital there.

The quest is called "Triage" where you have to save 15 soldiers before they die of their wounds - save the more critically wounded ones first as the others will last a little longer - right click on next soldier while the first one is healing.  He is in the tower - bottom floor to the left (I think). The bandage training is free.  Might take a couple of times but an easy quest.  He will give you a book Master First Aid and mageweave and heavy mageweave bandages.  Then it is off to the Outlands/Firehold Pennisula to see Burko to get Artisan 1st Aid (4G) and two manuals (2G) - neatherweave and heavy neatherweave bandages and that is pretty well it for 1st Aid.

What about for Horde? Anyone know?

The horde quest is the same as far as healing the soldiers, and it is located in Hammerfall.

I did the quest in thermore and he never gave me a book,I am stuck at 225,can you buy the book from AH?Or should i go back and see if I can do the quest again?

You do the "Triage" quest with the Dr. in Theramore. You do not get a book from him, if you PASS [save all thats needed without too many dieing] then you automatically will go to the next lvl.
With my hunter, the first 8 times i tried it i failed.

Someone in my guild told me how to do it to pass.
1. put the bangages in a window for easy acess.
2. stand behind the Dr. take one step away from him.
3. this way you will be able to scan and see the patients, and heal the faster.
4. heal the worst ones first.

I also passed the test by Dr. VanHowzen. He did not give me a book or the two recipes, and when I click on him now, all he says is he has taught me all he can for now, come back when my practice has expanded. Maybe my bags were full.. but all I have is the same old mageweave recipe, nothing else. Any ideas?
