omg ho do i max it when im a lvl 40 and cant kill lvl 50!!!

Level to 50. Cant do much besides level up.

You don't need to kill level 50 beasts to get your skinning up!What you need to do is kill a lot of beasts to go up 1 skill point.However skinning is the fastest of all proffessions to level if you focus on killing beasts and taking the time to skin them.I maxed out at 375 skinning at level 57.
