I have been collecting gear for the last couple weeks and I think I am ready to make the transition. I have good experience with elemental spec and resto, but am lacking in enh attack strategy.
Any suggestions? Open with weapon attacks, hit 'em with a shock? Pray for WF proc?
Appreciate the advice...
Shamanistic Rage -> Stormstrike -> Earth or Frost Shock -> Earthbind -> Grounding (if needed) and back to Stormstrike. Purge when needed.
If you can spare a few seconds in between, drop Strength of Earth and Grace of Air.
Edit: Also, Windfury works best with a slower weapon. Some people will tell you to use a two hander with very slow attack speed. But remember; if the speed is greater than 3 seconds then you're not taking full potential of Windfury. I would recommend dual wielding slow weapons (the slowest one hander is about 2.9 seconds). This way, you'll be getting steadier damage and increased proc on Windfury.
Earth bind is a waste of time and shamastic rage only needs to be ued if you're going in over your head or you need mana badly. Stormina strike with your windfury which will prolly crit (if not keep doingi t) one it does you should have flurry which is 30% attack speed increase , throw a shock down which down to shasmastic focus has 60% less mana cost and your damage is increased because of unleased rage.
Most hings don't live thru more then 2 or 3 rounds of that in outlands.
