ok i just started a shaman im ten and i just want to get to 58 asap is enhancement my best bet...just like stright questing and grinding?

yep...no one can lvl faster than an enhc sham coz he has like 0 downtime while ele and resto would have to keep chugging water after fights...
here its a very simple thing, tho u gotta time it right...
walk in, smash him, smash him, quick heal, smash him...laugh over his dead body, move to next guy.
simple enuf. once u get grounding and SS, then things are a lil more 'INVOLVED'...as in, if u time it right and got a lil bit of luck u can drop a mob in 2 secs flat.
so, its a great spec to lvl and pursue...

actually strange as it may seem, i went pretty fast from 44-70 on resto pretty quick. i was enhance but there IS downtime, yu take alot of damage and need to heal alot. so sure, you pop a heal but it uses half alot of mana so after like 5 fights ( or one fight with multiple mobs) you need to either drink or eat. and you die whenever u get jumped by more than 3 mobs (which seems to happen to me all too often). anywho, i never have downtime on resto cuz of Nature's Gaurdain (talent). i never need to heal unless 3+ mobs are on me and my heals are cheap. i usually just hang out around 30% hp and just go from mob to mob with a full mana bar. and u kill faster than u would think cuz u have the huge mana pool for searing totem and lightening shield. and you NEVER die. even after taking on 6 mobs at once u dont need to drink. you never go out of mana cuz ur totems are so cheap and you get good bonus to your mana spring totem. just drop mana spring, searing totem, stoneskin, and pop lightening shield every time it runs out. you never stop, you never die, you kill about as fast as a fury warrior (for real, i leveled one)

with enhancement you WILL have to run or die if u get jumped and you WILL have downtime cuz u lose so much health you need to heal and drink. i've never tried ele but i hope this helps you out. once u hit 45 i really think resto is better.. it's not slow like people think it is. hope this helps you out.

But what wpns you use while resto? Is a good 1hnd ( +healing/dps spells ) with a +12stam ( or something rly good like that ) Shield better then a nice 2hnd wpn?

i sugest beleive it or not elemental purely cause it only took me 1 month to lvl from 1-70 so i gr8 beleiver in the lightning bolt spam cause u do take several mana breaks but with that move that if u get a crit u practicaly halved mana cost then i find with grinding i only use about 7 drinks a lvl at average

It'd be more helpful if you told us how much you played a day...

Anyway some people say Elemental is faster up til 30 something then Enhancement is faster.
