Thx a lot!
/divie shield
/hearthstone
/wave
Ok macros are great in raids. There is bosses who target random people and it will help a ton if you put them there. I use some but not as many as i should. Im not the master of the macros at all, I just use some that other guildies use.
LOL.
imagine slamming one button to cast seal of choice, judge, seal of command, crusader strike, crusader strike, judge, SoC, CS. At that point the mob should be dead.
Now imagine putting that on your mouse so all you have to do is right click on a mob to run at it to attack it, then hit that mouse button. GRINDING WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION IS FTW!!!
I never did this on my pally, but my warlock did (had one button that casted 3-4 dots in a row, reseting if I switched targets).
/castsequence reset=target seal of wisdom, judgement, seal of command, crusader strike, crusader strike, judgement, seal of command
should work
my standard Macros for my paladin are
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=25 Seal of (insert each seal here), Judgement
if you're ret it's nice to have the stuns all on one button with
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=60*, repentance
*-different if you have skillpoints in this one but number = seconds of cooldown
also i like to bind trinkets to the consecrate skill for prot like..
#showtooltip (name of trinket**)
/cast Consecration
/use [trinket to boost def or block]
or if you're 70 and ret
#showtooltip (name of trinket**)
/cast Avenging Wrath
/use [trinket to boost AP, strength (damage)]
**-create the macro with the image of the spell and the tooltip of the trinket that way you can see the current timer on the trinket but still have the visual of the spell so you know what does what (in case you forget or play a lot of alts:P)
Also...a somewhat handy one is
#showtooltip
/cast Divine Shield
/use target=player [highest bandage you have]
a lot of people say that First Aid is silly for any class that can heal and up till around 60 i disagreed. Perhaps this is because i had peaked my FA and could bubble-heal and be at full health with zero mana usage...HOWEVER at 70 the best bandages you can make only heal you for ..a third of your hp if you've stacked STAM like you're suposed to. SO, YMMV.
heh..one more. If you do some tanking...
#showtooltip
/cast target=Mouseover Righteous Defense
/y Leave %F ALONE!!
Bind this to a key that way you can mouseover your friendly players toon or portrait with ease. This works best with show targe of target active as you can see when your target looses focus on you. That last line is optional but it's a friendly reminder to whoever you're saving that help is on the way.
HAH..just realized you said Holy :P as far as holy is concerned i've never ran that way and apparently i'm not the only one that didn't notice you said that as others have mentioned Crusader Strike and whatnot.
IF i were to run HOly i'd definately put some mouseover heals and buff skills which are easy
/cast target=mouseover [flash of light, holy light, blessing of light, any spell]
bind a seperate key for each one and you'll be golden on healing.
Have fun man.
/target (insert boss name here)
/assist
/cast Flash of Light
Spam the hell out of it. This works great on High Astromancer Solarian. She randomly targets people in the raid and causes a lot of damage... i think its like 8k or so.

that bubbleheal is buggy...still can't get it to work. I know the concept is sound as i have a similar trick on my rogue with a gougeheal so i know you can /cast/use but there must be a cooldown or something. It's just a matter of figuring out the code. Might not be any way around it.

These macros actually work. yay.
Was that a negative comment towards me? I stated that my bubbleheal was buggy but other than that my macros work too. I've tested them myself and use them daily.
