1. Where is the best resource for reading about Hunters?
2. What is kiting?
3. How do I get to Orgrimmar? (is there a map somewhere)
4. What is the best Addon or Addons to have(free)?
5. What is the bank used for, can I collect interest?
6. How do I increase agility? (I heard this is what hunters need)
7. I spend most of my money on training in Thunderbluff, but I can not get any new weapons or firstaid or leatherworking for a while. (now I have a bkg and a staff with a shinny stone on the end, I heard a sword would be better but all the swords are red)
8. I have been invited to several guilds, what is a guild and where can I learn more about them?
9. What do you do Tuesday morning when Blizzard is working on survers?
BTW I am a lvl 24 Tauren(I had to look that up I was just going to say walking bull, lol)
I'm a level 60 blood elf hunter so I'm still learning but I'll try to answer the questions I know the answers to--
1. I've always used thottbot for any information I need on my character but on pet training http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/ is the best place I've found.
2. I'm not exactly sure what kiting is...I think it's where you run from a mob while healing yourself and your pet (could be wrong though.)
3. I've purchased the guide books for my maps but I'm sure there are some on here. This is a long trip but the best way to go is to take the road east out of Mulgore into The Barrens and go north when you go past camp taurajo (don't forget to get your flight paths on the way...you'll see a green exclamation point). Head all the way to the crossroads and get your fp (flight path) there. A little bit past the crossroads is a road leading east take that into Durotar. Keep going until you reach Razor Hill. Then go North you will eventually get there...don't forget to get your fp when you get there.
4. I don't use add-ons so I can't help you there.
5. The bank doesn't store your money or give you interest it's just an extra storage place for your items...the more you play the more items you'll collect. There are extra bag slots that you can purchase and then put a bag in that opens up to provide more space...the first couple of slots don't cost too much but the more you open up the more expensive it gets so try to spend the gold on bigger bags for those slots. I tend to keep my profession items there that way they don't take up precious room in my bags.
6. Agility is increased by the items that you equip on your character.
7. Never buy your weapons or armor from the vendors...go to the auction house (ah) and browse around. Weapons/armor can also be obtained through quests and drops off of mobs. But become very familiar with the ah...you should also start selling the items you get but don't need there.
8. A guild is kinda like a club...each guild does different things, if you are asked to join ask the person what their guild is like and any other questions you can think of. A lot of guilds are boring and get stale with most members that don't play regularly and other guilds make demands on your time and there are guilds in-between. This is where you will find the most help and if you need to do a specific quest that you can't do on your own a good guild has people that are wiling to help you with it. You can join a guild and if you don't like it or it doesn't fit your style of play you can always leave and find a new one.
9. I work overnights so I sleep on Tuesday mornings...Usually. lol
Hope this helps a little :)
1. Where is the best resource for reading about Hunters?
http://www.tkasomething.com/
http://www.wowwiki.com/Hunter
http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/
http://artanishunterguide.wordpress.com/
http://www.wowhunters.com/
http://www.hunterftw.com/
4. What is the best Addon or Addons to have(free)?
Addons are free. Go to curse.com
Depends on what you want. At lower levels there aren't too many really useful ones that you need. Auctioneer, and question helpers are nice. Also get a coordinates mod. :-)
5. What is the bank used for, can I collect interest?
No. The bank is used for story items til you use them later. You can purchase bags and put whatever size bags you want in it.
6. How do I increase agility? (I heard this is what hunters need)
Hunters need Agility and Stamina. You get agility bonuses from weapons. Do instances as you get up in level to get some good equipment. :-)
7. I spend most of my money on training in Thunderbluff, but I can not get any new weapons or firstaid or leatherworking for a while. (now I have a bkg and a staff with a shinny stone on the end, I heard a sword would be better but all the swords are red)
This isn't a question? You can train in any major city.
8. I have been invited to several guilds, what is a guild and where can I learn more about them?
Guilds are a way of making friends. You can find people to do instances with, get help doing quests, etc. Great way of meeting people.
9. What do you do Tuesday morning when Blizzard is working on survers?
I work. lol. But you could read up on wow, read about hunters, or other classes, read different hunter abilities, read strategies, etc.
:-)
I think kiting is when u jump around and stay as far away as you can from the target while still hitting them. Hunters are good at kiting because they can use their pet to attack the target and you can focus on keeping away from them
Kiting is something every hunter should learn to do, it will help you solo mobs/elites many levels above you. You use Aspect of the Cheetah, Concussive Shot, and traps to keep away from a mob, all while doing damage to it with instant shots like arcane and serpant sting. It may take 10..15..even 20 minutes to eventually kill the mob, but it can be done. Just remember to put your pet on passive, so it doesn't draw agro, unless you get in a jam and need it to. If you practice, you can "jump shoot". This is where you jump, turn 360 degrees with a shot backwards, and keep running away in the same direction. You can also use kiting to run elites to a friendly zone, and have friendly NPC's help you kill it. Hunters are not the only class that can kite, mages are also good at it with blink.
How do i get the coordinates thing?
Ok at curse.com..
What is the name of the Addon?
I use cosmos because it is a collection of about 30 addons in one, but there are others out there.
But what is the name of the Addon?
I use the addon 'zhuntermod'. there are probably better ones around. but i find it useful.

Cosmos is great and you do not have to get the entire package, I use several different addons augmented with cosmos items I like and you just google cosmos and go the their website go to downloads and find the addons you want...
I am a newbie myself (all of three days) and have found the answers to some of your questions.
Kiting is the art of attacking without having to melee. That is, kill with the bow/gun. A good explaination can be found on the WoWWiki site (sorry don't have the address handy, but Goggle will find it) and do a search on kiting.
As for sources, the forums on this site and Allakhazam.com are the best I have come across and Allakhazam has quite a few guides on levelling and hunters. However, like me, you may find the lingo a bit hard to understand as they are written by very experienced players (60+ on mutliple characters), but hang in there as there are some gems of advice.
When the servers go down, which I found out to my extreme disappointment is at 8 pm my time (Australia) and is my prime playing time. This is when I research! And I manage to go to bed before 2 am and get more than 4 hours sleep!
Hope this helps!

In reply to question 7, Are you asking how to get better weapons/armour? Or money?
I have got all the armour I have needed from quests and drops. At level 12/13 I am getting greens (Uncommon items) from some mobs, bot even quest related.
If you must spend money on this stuff, get better weapons and when I say weapons I mean bows/guns.
To make some money, take up the trade of skinning and skin your kills. You can them sell them to vendors, but if you sell on AH you can get double, triple or more. My level 12 Hunter has just over 1 gold now, maxed out skill in skinning and I still have about 5 gold worth of leather to sell in AH on the weekend. All from just three days of solo running around and levelling (and dying).
Oops, most others have said similar to this as well. Should have read on first, then shot off my big mouth!!!
I've only been playing for a few months but I have found that the battlegrounds are good for getting gear. When you get to level 28 or 29 try WSG and the AB. You can get gear with agility and stamina with honor points instead of gold. It's also a good place to learn from others on how to properly use the skills like kiting. I am alliance but I have noticed how well the hourde teams work together and you could probably learn alot from them.
Kiting is something you cannot do on a laptop.
Get a map addon from curse and that will show you areas that you haven't explored yet.
a normal kite is when you drag something behind in the air.
in wow that something is the enemy, since we're ranged and that something is usually a melee person its like "we can hit you but you cant hit us".
if your kiting a caster you're gumby or jus running away from a beat down
One question I did not see talked about is if this is you first character, or any first character on a server should have mining and tailoring as primary professions why?
all your toons will need bags, and the bigger the better,
Mining is one of the best sorces of income out there.
One other is to have a miner/skinner and just buy bags.
Having cash means you can buy better gear, though don't spend too much, I would keep you bow within 5 lvls chest and leg armor within 7 everything else upgrade as you run across deals or quests, one time I had a pair of swords with good hunter stats I had them for 20 lvls, as a hunter you don't mele that much so I never noticed.
As an example a stack of copper bars typically sell from 1gold 20silver to 1g90g on a good weekend, as you are questing in the barrens you will run into tones of it and it goes up from there
as for addons
Auctioneer,
is a must, use it for batch auction posting and setting prices.
Quest helper,
very useful if yopu are new to the game or learning a new areas quest.
Coordinates addon
you will see alot of post that had you find mob x at 20,32 .
Omen,
this is optional early on, but don't leave it too long. this is a threat meter. basically it show priority on the mobs munch list. basically you send you pet to attack something and you start shooting. since you pet was the first to attack it has the mob attention (called agro) as you shoot you generate agro with the mob. If you pass you pet the mob will attack you.
Typically this is not a bad thing if you are soloing during normal questing. but if your fighting in a group and you pull an instance boss off of the tank and that could cause a wipe. So get use to it with your pet so later on you have the concept down.
And as a hunter you want +agility on your gear above all else then stamina or intelect, spirit is ok strenght is useless. there is more, but early on this is OK
Oh yea, http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/
petopiea is very useful for researching pets, and finding the ones at your lvl that have best attack, now as a rule "a cat is a cat" so all pet of a certain family at a given lvl have the same base attack after they are trained. but there are special abilities that may or may not be there. as an example in the stonetallon mountains there are lv 16 and lvl 17 spiders right beside each other the lvl 16 have bite 3 while the 17's do not that makes the 16's more desirable that the 17.
Now you can collect these special abilities and train other pets with them as long as that family can learn that skill. I hate to say I was lvl 40 before I clued into that.
