ok... long post ahead. beware.
First of all, feel free to totally disregard everything I say. It's you account, after all. But otherwise, read on.

No spirit tap. In a BG, there are so many ppl that you will almost never get killing blows, and in arenas you won't have enough time to reap the full benefit. Put 3 of these in Shadow Focus (no better place), then the other two in Shadow Reach.

Also, you only really need two points in Imp. Mind Blast-there are Disc talents much more worthy of these 3 points.

5/5 Unbreakable Will instead of Imp. Wands. For soloing, wands are everything, but you almost NEVER use wands in PVP. Anyways, stun=bad.

Take none in Imp. Wands. Put that one and one more from where ever (Imp. Shield? It's not as good as you think) into Martyrdom. Have you tried casting through a rogue recently?

By now, your build should look like this:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/priest/talents.html?5002120100000000000000000000000000000000000050232210251123051051

9 points left, right? Several options here, for different play styles. These talents are all good options:
Imp. Shield
Mental Agility
Absolution
Imp. Mana Burn
Meditation (only if you have lots of spirit)
Healing Focus
Shadow Power

Do whatever you like, but remember, the most important thing is having fun!

btw-shadowpriest.com is a good forums site

-Hezzinger of Area 52

-Yes, Mind Control can do that.

I aggree with most of what was said.  Wand Specialization is useless for PVP, as is spirit tap.  Improved Vampiric embrace just isn't that useful for PVP either, those two points are much better spent improving your damage, crit, or hit.  You also have ZERO points in Shadow Focus, which is one of the best shadow talents there are because it increases your hit.  If you're primarily going to do pvp, however, you don't need to cap it, IIRC, you only need 6% to cap for level 70, so unless you have some spell hit (which PVP gear doesn't have), you'll probably want to put 3 points there.

So, if I were going to PVP as Shadow, I'd use a build fairly close to this:

um...i DID put EXACTLY 3 points into Shadow Focus...and unless the person who you are fighting stands next to you, you are going to be taking damage. Thus, why not heal yourself for more while taking damage?

You said "put three of these points in Shadow Focus (no better place".  That implies that you're just using them as sort of a place holder rather than emphasizing just how important spell hit is.  That is, you don't put them there because there's no better place, you put them there because it's three of the best points you can spend, especially so early in the tree.

Also sure, you could put two points in improved vampiric embrace, but I think you're much better spending points in talents like improved PW:Shield and Improved Mana Burn (which would require some points in Meditation too) both of which are essential for PVP.

Even after that, you have to decide if two points is worth 10% when the first point alone gives you 15%, when compared to other useful talents, like Improved Mind Blast, Shadow Power.  Either way, I don't think it's a gimme like you'd imply.
