im spending my time now to choose my main, just started wow week ago. From all classes im considering these two.What advices u can tell me?.I like healing, what i know druid has nice hots, sham has nice earth shield, and sham is a little more efficient in 1v1 pvp, druid shines in 2v2 3v3. what u think ? i consider raiding/arena.

id say druids are better

me too cuz we have more heals when shamans have like....3 is it??? we have 5 if i'm not mistaken....although we dnt have the ability to self rez which is a pain!

For raiding I'd vote for resto druid.  The hot's are nice because the agro they produce is more gradual.
For arena, it really depends on your partner, but druids are kings at adaption.  They also have several forms of crowd control, and the shaman just has the slow totem (the rock and fire pets of the shaman are not useable in arena) inless you're tauren, then you have warstomp too.
In the end, you'll do fine with either, just play something that you enjoy :)

Arena-DRUID, by far

Raiding-SHAMAN, not by a ton though.

shaman are just better overall raid healers, the only real reason is chain heal which is wonderful but a druid is still a capable raid healer.

Druid imo is by far the best healer, the hots make them near impossible to take down, and they just have great versatility.

if u wanna do some good dmg then pick resto shaman but if u wanna have total controll and be the king of arenas.. pick resto druid because its so fun healing with it ur target always gets full hp lol... u wont regret making a pvp resto druid but if u wanna do good dmg take resto shaman because they can throw off some really nasty dmg / kkthxbye

I used to be one of those guys who thought healing was one of the most boring parts of the game and let me tell you the resto druid totally changed all that for me. I get a kick out of every horde goin after me and my hots keeping me alive untill my buddys come. Resto druid by far best healer.

Ya, resto druids kinda suck in 1v1 in bg's, but u are able to keep urself alive long enough until backup arives most of the time and normally have enough mana (with pots and innervate) to keep the backup healed.

At level 70 shamans are flies compared to druids.

THe won above me is different, but seriously a druid is a much better arena healer, and a more fun class too :)

You gotta go for Druid. The fun lvl is so much higher, and that all I really play for, fun
