I'm a 37 NE Druid, and decided to go for a play around in WSG today. I go in, and all through the match I'm wondering why the hordeys seem to be standing up to me a little better than normal. The BG finishes, and we win, I'm in 2nd place with quite a few kills to my name. As I run away from the castle in SW I notice my fishing rod on my back.

Sudden realization, I just did the entire BG, smacking the hell out of people with a fishing rod.

Moral of the story: I'm a noob, but Druids can kick ass, no matter what gear they wear!

LoLz yes druids are awesome but remember that if ur feral(which i suspect u are, cause i doubt if u were balance ud use melee lol) u dont use the weopon u are wieldings dps but instead use attack power and stats

You only lost the stats of the weapon you normally use (at that level, probably something like 9 stam, 9 agi, or 20 ap or so.  Even still, owning hordies with a fishing pole would be grand feeling...  nicely done.  Heck, just winning WSG as ally is an achievement

Why do all the noobs join ally??

I have an Ally and a Horde character, and I've encountered just as many "noobs" on both factions... It's really not exclusive to Alliance.

Although i agree with Agammon why would you join Ally for hot night elf girls when blood elf chicks are hottER?
