Why did blizzard decide to put the Transmute CD on the stone itself why not the "spell"? I mean this 24hr CD makes trasmuting stuff basically useless at lower levels, I see where a 24 hr CD on the primal might and stuff such as that but turning iron->gold and having that blow your CD is ridiculous. just wondering if I'm the only one who finds this CD absurd or not.

i dont mind the cooldown as much as i do mind the fact that all transmutes share a cooldown. i mean im forced to choose bitween transmuting primal might and a meta gem when i need them both at the same time.
I agree that it sucks that all the xmutes are all on the same CD. Meta and Elemental xmutes should be on seperate CDs IMO.
well, at least we're gonna be able to transmute arcanite w/o a cooldown w/ 2.4 :P
then the alchemists can RLY take advantage of pallys doin their epic mount quest
then the alchemists can RLY take advantage of pallys doin their epic mount quest lol i doubt it will really help, cuz maybe some stupid alchemist might start making them cheaper than they should cost lol...but hopefully they dont and we still get to make the profit, especially since the mats are a bit costly, but way worth it when you look at how much Arcanite Bar should cost... about 400g for a stack of 20 :P
this is where i suppose it helps to have more than one alchemist on the same realm and in the same faction (alliance or horde).
--- with the release of patch 2.4.2, 23 hour cooldowns have been reduced to 20 hours and 4 day cooldowns have been reduced to three days and 20 hours. personally, i do not see that three and four hours really makes a difference and i am usually in game more than 10 hours everyday. but it seems that blizzard has responded to some complaints or suggestions about long profession cooldowns.
