Whoever says you can't drive down prices on AH doesn't understand simple economics.  There is no "set" or "acceptable" price on AH.    If I consistently put an item like Knothide Leather on AH for a lower price than the other guys are selling it, my auctions will sell before theirs will.  Pretty soon their auctions will start closing with no bids because folks are buying my lower priced items.  If the other guys want their Knothide to sell, they have no choice but to lower their price.

This is how an open market works in the real world, too, so it would be good for you to learn this simple principle.
