What your Favourite and most hated instance? And why?

My favourite instance is Sunken Temple because of all the steps you have to do to kill some bosses and the dragons and a very nice touch.

MY most hated instance is Scarlet Monastery simply because it's not original and it's boring...plain.

i actually have either scarlet monastery or hellfire ramparts as my favorite....scarlet monastery because of all the cloth drops and hellfire ramparts cuz its just good lol

least favorite ones are the deadmines and the underbog....deadmines because everyones like 'oh give me a boost there for 10 silver' and underbog because its fucking solid!

although i also like auchenai crypts aswell.

LEAST FAVORITE- Maraudon- By far the longest 5-man I have EVER done. You can do ZF twice before you finish Mara.

FAVORITE- Ragefire Chasm. I know, everyone's going to laugh at me, but its easily accesible, easy to form a group, fast to urn and there are many quests. WAY BETTER than no special loot Stockades. Pfft. Stockades is annoying, definitely ranks 2nd least favorite.

Favorite-has to be sunken temple. there are a ton of bosses and dragons and thats pretty cool.also got an epic cloth item there :)

Least favorite-Uldaman-i went there ATON of times caz i could not find the quest items and the monsters are way to tight together....

Favorite:Gruul's Lair- easy to find a group, very short raid with nice drops
Least favorite:Deadmines.  Walk anywhere near westfall and you won't be able to see general chat through all the nubs spamming "omfg run me thru dm plz"

My favorite has got to be Sunken temple because i got an awesome weapon( soul harvester form a lock quest) and my least has got to be deadmines. Like others people whine to you to run them when theres a freaking group beside them.

Most Disgusting: Maraudon and Uldaman.  The Coilfang Reservoir meeting stone area is also quite nasty with Alliance and Horde gankfest during Daily questing.

Most Favored: Wailing Caverns and The Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20) - I especially like AQ20 because the ambience is quite nice and some of the places are really large and wide. 

Notable Mentions: Sunken Temple - I've posted suggestions for more puzzle-based dungeons and quests, but I'm guessing most WoW players don't like stuff like that.  However, ST can get quite boring because of all the running around, back and forth, etc. 

Nightmares: Heroic Blood Furnace and Blackrock Depths - BRD for the Throne Room respawning mobs.  HBF for the sequence leading up to Broggok.

I like all short instances, and hate all longer ones.

Favorite Outlands: Mechanar- its easy quick, and good run for heroic badges

Least Favorite outlands: Crypts- I hate all the instant spawns that appear when you start a fight and I dont like the boss drops
Underbog, its long and annoying, but not very hard.  I always feel like im wasting my time there.

Favorite Other:  Mara and Sunken Temple.  I liked both instances about equal.  Mara because i liked the general layout of it.  Sunken Temple, I like the dungeon progression.

Least Favorite Other:  WC- the place is confusing and long, took me 30-45 min to have my 70 run some guildies through it. 
RFC: I hate the layout of the instance.

there are things i love and hate about all instances and it really depends on what character i am on

for instance, i love rfc on my lvl 70 paladin when im boosting someone i know, just aggro half the instance. aoe everything around you, by the time im done looting im also regennerated.

but i dont like it with a pug all in the level range its intended for, its very dark,takes ages etcetcetc


i love maraudon, for the looks and feel, but i hate how long it takes to do with a pug. (it even took very very long with a lvl 70)
when we were done it took me 10 minutes (seriously!, i timed it) to walk 2/3rd back - then i found some thrash we skipped and died


in other words, it all depends. and i think this goes for a lot of instances

btw .. nobody mentioned caverns of time ?
dont you like helping opening the portal , freeing thrall .. things like that ?

Totally forgot about it.  I really like the story lines of Durneholde and BM.  Plus i think the whole thing with helping Thrall escape is kinda fun.

Actually I love Durnholde.  When I mentally compare it to Tauren Mill of the now-timeline, it just seems so nice and even a bit sad. 

I hate gnomeregan.
Place is a damn zoo and a huge maze.
Even with high level characters it takes forever to get through and few people seem to like to run it on my server.

I like WC and DM for twinking purposes.

my personal favorite might be either scholo or SM. i love scholo for all the free skinning i get in the room with the little dragonkin. and SM just freakin rox because you can auction all the cloth from it and farm like hell.

least favorite, SFK. i just find it redundant and pointless

Favorite: Shadowfang Keep, mobs aren't that close together, so it's easy to solo as a hunter in the 30's, fair drops for all classes, especially the last boss.

Least Favorite: Deadmines or Gnomeregan, you get a group up and right before you wanna start, no one knows how to get there or they don't have the Goblin Transponder or something

Favorite is any black rock instance that I can solo with my 70 prot warrior.

Most favorite is Strat.  I think a prot warrior is one of the few builds that can solo the entire place and kill everything.  nice drops and the orbs sell for 40-50 gold each.

least favorite-any instance that takes way  way  tooo long because someone in party has gone afk for food, beer or whatever and you have to stand around saying Hey where are you

Favorites:
    Zul'Furrok: the epic battle on the stairs has got to be one of the best ones in the game...very cool, and love helping lower lvls w/ that :P
    Sunken Temple: another good battle w/ the dragons where you gotta flick the candles on, and its repeatable :P
also, nice trink from killing Eraknus

Hated:
    Uldaman!!!!! grr! so confusing! although i like the back door, which helps a lot if you keep dying half way throught the instance :P
    Gnomeragon...the boss isnt really a boss i guess, although its worth going in just to get some of the jewels...

oooh another thing about auchenai crypts

i was in there one time and i got possessed (ARGH) and then when the possession got removed i still couldn't use any of my bear abilities i could basicaly melee and that was it. thankfully the other durid in the group told me to right click on my bear form icon and then i went into bear form again and everything was fine..

maybe something for the programmers to try and fix in the future

oh and the big skeleton pulls were ace in that place i loved em!

there are also a lot of funny things in instances that might need mentioning here

What about all the dancing skeletons in RFK/RFD (one of them, cant remember)

Or some of the insane details, like two corpses in sunken temple that sit next to each on one of the bits where a statue is, it looks like they died looking down

Favorite : Duh

Least : Stockades - too much aggro, crappy quests and way too crowded. Does win "worst drops" award.

Ramparts was my first BC instance, so I still love going there very much.

Deadmines...for sure...nothing like entering that cave with the big ship for the first time. And it is extremly well laid out.

Botanica. I've just been there and i loved it!


theres such a variety of bosses, it's not just Blood elves and big robot things.

That Laj boss is alot of fun basically i just stood there and casted at him.

that last boss is easy too just keep the treants off your healer and your fine cuz its not like they have alot of HP or high damage.

Favourite gotta be the Shadow labs , lol 2nd boss is absolutly priceless to fight against , murmur on heroic is hard but doble ,

Hated well underbog yeah feel like u waste time in it , also hate arcatraz.....

Sunken temple is very fun too especially the boss at the bottom of it where u have to press the stones in some way etc did it once and loved it

Least Favorite: Auchenai Crypts
As a caster, the first boss is easy to wipe on.

stratholme as the worst - because ive been trying to get the charger from there for ages and still hasnt dropped

MgT - as the best because it can still be challengin even with the best group/gear

Are you talking here about the Paladin's Charger mount ?

FAV: Sunken Temple.  I like the whole thing, theme, mobs, bosses, layout, location, druid class quest was great.

DIS: Stockades.  Could you put a boss or 2 in there with some half-way decent drops?  Maybe a little more story or detail?

FAVOURITES: Scarlet Monastery, easy to find a group, and lots of sellables and good green/blue drops. Also it's got lots of places to explore. I also liked Maraudon, because it's just uber fun - but a friend boosted me through and it took ages... I can't imagine doing it in a normal 5-man. Still, it's nice to have that epic "end-game" feel in a lv45 instance. The last boss of Ramparts is good too, and as a Moonkin I liked Zul'Furrak being outside. Sunken Temple is also super fun, and has that puzzle feel that NO other instance has! SM, ST and Mara are the best, IMO.

LEAST FAVOURITES: Stockades, it's tedious and too short, as well as having next to no good drops. I soloed it three times and found four greens and no blues... What a rip-off! In a 5-man, you'd be lucky to get one green every six runs or something! SM is much better for that level. Also, Ragefire Chasm. It's just so boring and the drops get outdated so quickly because it's lv9. You can't even sell them as twink items because lv12 greens are better than the blues. In my opinion, just spend the time you would in the instance getting to lv16 and go to Wailing Caverns!

My Favorite is Stratholme I solo it all the time.

Least favorite is crypts is just boring to me.

Scholomance and Ramparts are fun, Mechanar is also good.
Gnomer is gay.

I really liked Ramps as this was my first real challenge as a holy priest. Was kinda hard with 2nd boss doing much damage

Most hated gotta be DM... The instance is cool and all, but only noobs go there meaning tanks with dps specc and gear, healers with mana enough for 3 heals and stuff like that-.-

I'd say my favourite instance would have to be the deadmines. I know it's for noobs but it was my first instance and I had a really good team that eventually became my guild.

Ok I haven't instanced much even though im lvl 70 but I can't stand ulda or sunken temple. Mara was also a pain. Hmmm, I can't really think of my favorite.  Maybe ZF

i also hate both the instances in both plaguelands but i thinkg i hate most of these instances because of the situation i was in.

Blood Furnace cause the mega xp u get when rested

Hated instance
Stratholme cause the last boss can kill and entire raid group pretty much.

Gnomer and BRD HATED, Ramparts because its sweet and to the point.

I love ZF and deadmines. ZF is outside (or at least thats how it feels) and Deadmines was my first experience with an instance,,all fun.

I really detest Gnomergan and BRD,,, They make me depressed they are so dark and dingy. Not real fond of the instances in southern Barrens either.
