Ok i hear people whine all the time that my warlock is to overpowered. i say back that no class is overpowered. if u think a class is op then u don't know how to play!

Okay, people that say locks are OP its probably because they have yet to beat one in PVP.

Or they're just jealous that we get a free mount.

When it comes down to it. If warlocks are over powered, so be it, we can beat any other class (even rogues, I've done it) AND we get a free mount, plus, if you place your talent points right, your dps and dots will be UNSTOPPABLE.

ppl on every class fourm that say that class is voer powerd making them all not overpowerd and locks aretn the only ones who get a mount for 90 s at 40 but also do pallys

All races have their ups and downs, now if lockswere able to use leather...omfg then overpowered but being a clothie makes them mushy and well, if you are a good fear user then whoever you fight will claim you are overpowered because of the quick CD you can spam dots and Shadow bolts then refear the target...

Dude. From what ive experienced Hunters are the most OP class. then warlocks. Then druids. Then pallys.

People saying locks are the most overpowered class are just people who expect PvP to be two people to be smacking away at each other. on my lock ive been beaten many times in a completly fair fight just cause i was outplayed, anyone that think locks are overpowered should just go die in a hole and stop whinning >=p

I kind of agree with this.  Hunters are able to kill the most classes with ease in my opinion.  A pain for warlocks is a warrior (at least it is for me right now).  They charge and stun, when you fear they use their trinket, fear again and they use Bloodlust (I think that's the name) Try and fear again and it reflects on you.  During this they pop you for 2-3k on average and even with almost 11k hit points unbuffed it makes for a quick death. 

Rogues aren't AS hard for me anymore unless it's a mace carrying rogue and they just stun lock me.

Druids are not a problem anymore for me.  It used to be a pain for me to kill them until I learned how to beat them. 

Pally's, they're not DPS Over powered but they are healing over powered.  It's ridiculous that they can pop that bubble and be immune to EVERYTHING for 10 or 15 seconds, whatever it is.  It should be made like the priest's bubble where it absorbs damage, not Immune.  While in the bubble they can heal, once out of the bubble if you get them almost dead they can use Lay on Hands which heals them 100%.  So, Pally's are more of a pain in the @$$ than over powered.

hunters could be OP but not as OP as a warlock no matter how u put it, eg. hunters have quick dps and a nice mana drain but if u think of it locks have the guts (moves) to beat every class.

like:
healers: curse of tongues and drain mana
caster dps: curse of tongues(unless its a lock) and dps away with felhunter spell lock.
melee dps: curse of exaustion and fear.
other locks: DOt DoT DoT siphon life  spell lock, fear and in very sticky situations death coil.

and thats what makes warlocks OP although i truly respect hunters they are about the same OPness as a lock

i know warriors are like the best in arena but cmon u cant say a warlock cant match a warrior? i mean yeah a warrior doesnt die, does good dmg but a lock gets u a healthstone, can cc (fear) HAS a pet, can kill fast.

Not trying to be funny but how old is this link?  I looked around on it and under the "battlegroup statistics" link it lists the servers.. all 13 of them.  There's like 3 times as many now.

Also, I can't find any date on it, but since it lists most Rogues as being Shadowstep, I would guess quite recent.

The only good thing about locks are fear and dots.
They get no lvl 20 speed boost unlike most of the other classes. They have to wear cloth which is the worst armor.  And mages can poly morph which is practically the same thing.

A lock is far from overpowered. Their greatest weapon is fear. A fury specced warrior will pop off a Berserker Rage and it's all over. The lock will get sliced to pieces in no time.
I've found their Soulstones to be the most nuisance. Just when I think I got him down he pops right back up and takes the last of what little health I have left.
It depends a lot on how you play and how you're specced. Against a Fury specced warrior though, a lock is absolute toast.

Each class has their own strengths and weaknesses.  If any class seems to be op to you, it's because you have not learned how to exploit  their weaknesses against your particular class.  Only time, and skill development will dispell the OP myth.  Locks are definitely not the "Most Overpowered Class".  Most low level players think that they are just going to run up to a warlock and start kicking his/her head in.  After taking many fear casts, and shadow bolts they claim "Warlocks are OP".  When their toon is actually "PP" = poorly played.

God im so tired of Blizz almost telling us which classes/specs we can and cant play. Like so many have said/suggested before - no class is really "overpowered." In the BG's, where I have seen fewer and fewer of us lately (a couple of times I've been the only Lock), I've been beaten by players I just killed. Why am I not always coming out on top against the same person? It really just depends on how things went down...for example, if I know this Warrior or Rogue(dang them!) is going to kick my butt if I don't fear him RIGHT NOW and he's on my six I'll Death Coil then Fear, Dot, Dot, Dot...etc. He dies, rezes, then comes back for some revenge killing and my Death Coil is still cooling down and he's smashing my head in even though he has 3 dots on him. At this point my Succubus has run off with the circus then I notice she's dead, all the while if things keep going on the way they are I'm going to run out of HP before he or she will....when 5-6 of his or her team mates show up and attack me all at once at which point I just sit back and say, "Typical..." and wait to rez.

I love this post, you are right on with everything you said. I was lmao when I read that! I have felt the same many times in pvp with my lock! I finally got it to 70 so I hope to eat some hunters and pally's for dinner and possibly some priests and rogues for dessert. I know I don't stand a chance on the warriors but ah we can't all be number one. As long as I get to surpass some I am happy! I quoted that last part because I am tired of ppl complaining about fear too, it IS the only way we stay alive! Besides the best part about being a lock is even though some might kill us we get to sit back after death and watch our dots drain the life right out of them (as long as they don't steal our insignia and make us return to the GY). LOL, that's my fav part about being a lock, they might kill us first but we get the last laugh! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

I have leveled 2 locks to 70 and I'm not overpowered but I kick ass bigtime in the arena, why? Because I know how to play.

Locks arent just a case of fear, dot, fear, shadowbolt etc etc. You need to exploit the abilities you have over other classes.

I welcome the chance for a rogue/hunter/warrior to hit me in the arena. The pally I play with bubbles me and I get back lash from the destro talent tree, instant bolts.

There is no class that I fear fighting against, only good players. You say we're over powered, nope but just need to learn how to kill us.

Locks are not Op at all. I'm enh shammy and if i get close it's over for the lock. rouges are the problem with being op.

If you want to whine.. whine about priest.  They can bubble every 15 seconds.

Ever fight them in pvp?  Just when you think you are going to kill them... they bubble and heal.. and come after you..

If you survive the onslaught.. deathcoil/dot/fear/SB them and they rebubble and heal again.. WTF.  And the bubble takes ALL the damage to some stupid high numbers to pop it

Try taking on a Priest who just bubbled and healed away ~80% of the damage you just inflicted on him, a Pally who just did the same, a Rogue who just stunned you and a Druid in cat form...Suuuuuuuuck!

If we are overpowered(which we are not) then it is useless if this happens! Not to mention that half the people I try to fear have Fear Trinkets or are immune...dang.

Granted I don't deliberately put myself in these situations(I'm not insane)...just how things can happen...

what ticks me off is people saying that locks depend on dots and fear. they dont! waht you need is deathcoil felguard and a whole lot of instant damage spells

in pvp you also have to remember the fel puppy, but taqke his spell lock off auto, other wise he will cast it on warriors and rogues and stuff. if it's off auto then you can choose when to cast it on casters.  priests are awesome to spell lock so that they can't bubble, pallies as well.  Noobcoil, DoT, real fear, spell lock once fear is up, then repeat, the cooldown on noobcoil might not be finished so just fear before you DoT other wise he will bubble and start healing himself.  or you could succy him and run away. but that's not as fun.

Curse of Tongues reduces healing done by Pallies and Shamans by 60%, I hear. (actually more because of pushback from your pet)

And #$$(# Earth Shield, what do you think your Devour Magic is for?

Hunters are not OP. Warlocks are, since you may kill them, but their DoT's actaully hurt, and its not fun being feared all the time, doing nothing but losing health, and they got drain health/mana which is... not fun.

the whole idea of any class being OP is sooo 2 years ago.
right now the only truly easy kill we have is against mages and we have serious trouble with 3 classes (warriors, rogues, hunters). i'm sure other classes have more easy kills and less troublesome classes.
