What would be best for both?
I love doing BG and war but i also love doing dungeon runs
what would be best for both of thes Fire or frost or arcane mage?
Also Im only lvl 10 right now what talent build should i get from 10 to lvl 20?
I suggest Arcane and fire spec, Arcane will help you in pvp and fire will help in raids and duegon runs
lol, arcane is good to pvp, but frost is much better, and frost is also better to do raids because u dont get aggro, fire would kill u in raids.
Frost is acceptable in raids and great in PvP. :)
so in that case. can i go fire AND frost? i have deep fire build already. i wanna go hybrid.:D any doing the same?
I don't recommend Fire/Frost builds. It seems like a good idea on paper, but the talents don't really compliment each other and you just end up gimping yourself. I say go full Arcane if you want to PvP and PvE effectively. With arcane you can focus more on Spell Haste and Spell Crit since you need much less Spell Hit to cap (164 for fire and frost, 76 for arcane). Or you can try an Frost/Arcane build if you really want the defense and CC of Frost and the enhancing power of Arcane.
ive been every combination of raid / pvp specs any mage could possibly think of full fire, full arcane, full frost, frost/arcane. pom pyro ect. If you want to do pvp and raid a good spec is arcane frost. ill actually link you the build that i used

its kind of like a pom pyro build but for frost so it generates less threat and uses less mana while still pulling off huge dps.
however if u decide to go pure raiding the build i perfer is 2/48/11

i went into frost for icy veins and elemental precision. blast wave and dragons breath are both pretty much useless in pve so they arent needed
Sorry Tcer, but fire is probably the best for raids, not frost. Fire puts out WAAAAY more DPS than frost, and if you play smart you won't pull aggro as any spec of mage.
