Hey i am lvl 32 prot pally and i have 145 BSing.
Is it possible for me to make money using shining silver breatsplates. If not, what will make money. Green iron haubaurk? Green iron helm? what?
I used to sell the Silver Breastplate and the Green Iron Hauberk. Both are decent sellers, just be sure to keep track of your costs so you are making a decent profit from the sale.
If you buy the mats to make these items they can be costly so heads up.
These are the only items you will make; and it will be brief; which you will actually make any profit at.
A bit of advice (I am a 375 armorsmith) keep the mining and get a different secondary profession. Mining will make you a lot.
Even though there are a ton of jewelers and chanters, and yes, they don't make a profit until late, the will and do make a profit. Another option is to create another char and have it become a chanter and then pass what you can't sell to the chanter for DE.
You won't make a profit from BS and the longer you wait to drop it, the more gold you will have lost.
i am tending to agree that bs is becoming a waste of time not only does it take for ever to lvl it takes a ton of gold i would like to see new item that arnt soul bound when you make them and we should also have the abitlty to make the best weapons and armor, better than the drops and rewards because of the time effort and gold it takes to get bs up to 375
yea it is hard to get your blacksmithing up but it can pay off in the long run. you have a couple weapons that can sell for a bunch, but you should have most of mats or else it will cost a bunch of gold. other then that when you get your blacksmithing up it does pay off if you get the right plans and sell at right price.
i dont see anything that make's any significant money in bs... i'm 275, and all there is, is the 2 breastplate's. what's the point in even bothering? i just started playing this game about 5 month's ago, and i was SO mad when i found out u cant do anything with it... that i bout just quit playing and went to a different game.
I sold the Shining breast plates at 15g a piece went crazy fast. The only hard thing to find is the iridescent pearls. expensive on AH, but sometimes you can find 2 for 2g.
on my realm - Dragonblight - Jade Serpent Blades sell really well, although you do have to find the plans, it's really worth churning these out
Heck, if you a lvl 32, then your bsing should be near lvl 200. You can make alot of money ether way you play it, Shining Silver Breastplate, Iridescent Hammer, pretty much anything above lvl 150 in bs is worth about 1 gold+.

Hey Everyone Blacksmithing is the way to go for a 49 twink it really is if yall want to, Go armorsmith to make the gear that you wouldnt acquire from pvp rewards, its called Earthforged pieces, These mats are very cheap to make too. Then the only problem you'll have is picking your 49 weapon. Which I went Weaponsmith and you get great one handed weapons that are very cheap to make like 12 mithril bars and 4 hearts of fire or somthng very ez like that. These are Bop items though. As far as making money and having great gear for yourself, You can make the True Silver Gauntlets and The True Silver breastplate. Which are some very killer blue plate items with a 3% chance to heal on the chest, and +16str +4 sta on gauntlets. These are not Bop and are the best there is out there, Ashame I just bought a real nice Belt recipe from the argent dawn in EPL anoter blue item that has ez mats and i think their better than what the warsong outriders quests give. If you can find a guildmate to cruise out there and pick them up for you the plans are not Bop, I forgot about all this stuff im fixin to make it for a guildy when servers back up. Theres also the Truesilver champion, expensive materials to make but the twohanded sword has a proc to bubble you :) and trust me it works, Since it is over a lvl 35 item you can put a nasty enchant on there too. These plus many more The very cool looking phantom blade which i made only once for my warlock lol. It looks soo cool, and reduces armor, Dark iron pulverizer, Good Luck getting that made at that lvl i never have I'd stick with truesilver gear, and you can sell these to every person lvling up and wanting great gear. This is what you do to make money and get rid of old gems and stuff taking up bag space, I'm letting you know this when u head to un'goro down the road, those little power crystals better have ur name on them, because they are mats need for the thorium set of armor. Which is pretty decent for that lvl i guess. Im not sure cause i was a slacker on mining always following the xp first, then, and still am back tracking for minerals, you want money, there it is, you want great gear its all there. Fill the rest in with pvp gear if you want I suggest stoppin at 39 and saving up for your first set of epic bracers though, which you can put on at lvl 40,from doing WSG, also JC's can make great items at this lvl for you liek Truesilver command's Ring i think and a trinket or two,JC's can prospect minerals and turn them into gems for your also. BS have never been a money maker and never will . . If you are looking for money get a gathering proff like mining or herbalizm . . but if you are looking for the easiest way to get geared then this is the profession for you . . anyone that has ever lvl'd a tank knows that it is a bitch to get geared at 70 for raiding, some of the bops are actually nice for a starter raid set. The only alternative to raiding past 70 without bs bop's is blues which will usually get you kicked from the raid if even considered for tanking.
