Hi guys! I always want to be a hunter since they have pet and ranged class, but now when i should make a new char i am not sure because evry one says that hunter sucks is it really true on end game?

Hunters do not suck.
Many people suck at playing hunters.

If you are good, hunters are great in end game.
They do sweet dps and have good CC abilities that keep healers alive and aggro on tanks.

It is never the class, it is ALWAYS the player.

hunters are great in end game, you just need to remember that solo and raids aren't the same

having played a few different lv 70's I find the hunter to be the most fun, sometimes it's just point and shot, sometimes it's more challenging then anyother class (which holds true to most classes)

just keep in mind it's a group vicotory or loss, the best way to stand out is to be the one to save the group, not the one to put it in jeapordy

learn to get the most from your CC abilities, watch your aggro, rock dps, control your pet effectivly, and don't break CC'd mobs and you'll have a great start

oh yeah, and don't let yourself run out of arrows, you quiver that holds 18 slots of arrows allows you to still cary an extra 20 stacks in yourr bags and move them around as needed

and people only every post LFM DPS, no one ever posts LFM crit, so learn the differance

when i were a lvl 63 orc hunter bm specced i killed a lvl 70 full epic nightelf solo..

Hunters rock, can out dps a lock and cc as good as a mage. Also can out pvp most classes, for the exception of a very common issue of mistargeting the pet causing a break in cc it is a very fine class.

everyone is saying no class is bad, which is mostly true now-but doesnt anyone remember what warlocks used to be like?! (sorry, nothing to do with this topic)

its nice having the bonus of a pet tanking for you so you miss repair costs and worrying about health

i looked on a pole and this was the score 4 the best class in wow (this true) hunter 88% mage 76% druid 70% paladin 68% warlock 43% rogue 32% shaman 30% warrior 28% priest 20% all true got it off a pole

Kinda funny that I found this topic, since i was planning on asking this same question. First off, let me say that i have a 70 Hunter. Hunters are awesome when used in a group but i have found that they are somewhat lacking at BGs at end game. All the way til i hit 70, i pwned most BGs being at the top in kills and dmg. Once u hit 70, it goes downhill. I no people are goin to say "You dont know how to play a hunter then" but the truth is, I do know how to play. I always agreed that hunters were OP until i hit 70. Just wanted to let it be known what i think. Also, you and i both know that if you see a hunter in a lvl 70 BG, u go after them first. Easiest to kill IMO.

Top dps in bg's at 70 always have a hunter in the top 3 unless the hunters in that game are noobs. and at 70, hunters do own in pvp BUT more in world 1v1 rather than bg's.
