I need some help. I can't figure out the calculations needed to achieve the readings my character has, when gear is worn, according to the "in-game" readings. 

Below are listed the stats for my "LEVEL 70 TAUREN WARRIOR" These stats were taken from the "in-game" readings (naked, with no talents taken); (naked with talents taken) and then (totally geared) which are the actual "in-game stats". The gear stats includes; "enchants; gems in sockets; socket bonus; equip bonus and then finally set bonus". This was added to the "naked w / talents" and then this was compared to the actual "in-game" readings.

If anybody can help me how I would come up with the readings the in-game readings give, I would appreciate it. FYI; I have doubled; tripled and quadrupled my count of all stats from my gear.

Note: Total is comprised from (Naked w/talents plus gear stats).  I left out Intellect and Spirit.

The in-game readings for Defense says "rating 256" (108 Defense)
