When my guild raids we use master looter and type /roll. Ive noticed you can release during a boss battle and come back in after its dead and still get the loot because of the master looter. But what if, say you get a idea no1 needs, some1 leave and another person joins. Can the master looter give that idea to the new person even tho hes never been inside before?

A person must be near the boss when he dies in order to loot it. For example: if you die 30 seconds into a fight, you must stay dead until that boss is also dead. Then you can release/rez and be able to loot. If you are not in range, or are a ghost, you cant.

you don't need to be able to loot no1 except the master looter can loot but it doesnt matter cause he gives it to some1 in the raid.
