Which enchant is better Icy or Fiery

Icy gives change to slow the enemy but fiery gives more damage, fiery is better i thing.

Funny, im stuck with the same question :p. But i thought that maybe i should check if i could get some good agi insted :) (im a lvl 40 hunter :)

It Really Depends on the weapon... I usually tell people that if it is a slow 2H, or a slow main hand mace, put an Icy on that. But if they are fairly quick weapon(s), Totally go with a Fiery. Nothing wrong with the Extra damage.

Enchanting is costly and sucks to level so be kind to us enchanters and please tip. 

on my server, altar of storms, fiery weapon is sold for 20g standard

id say it depends on what you plan on doing...i have a lv 19 rouge twink and i chase down people with the flag alot....for that i say icey is the good one because slowing them down helps ALOT...but damage is also just as important....

id say i see firy proc every 3-5 hits
while icey only procs every 20-30 hits

i myself couldnt decide so i went with offhand=icey main=firey...goodluck deciding for yourself...or you could always go crusader rofl.

im a rogue wiv fiery wep enchant on my main hand and icy on my offhand, can slow enemy down but also increased damage

I have I rogue with 2 fireys and the other has 2 iceys I say it doesn't really matter there both good for bgs

if you twink dont go for icy or fiery... cos they both suck hard.. for real man.. for real.. they absolutely suck.. you can instantly see in twink bg who is real threat by looking.. oh fiery wep.. a joke.. oh icy.. a joke... you MUST always go for the 25 or 15 agis with rogue or huntard... easily seen in the enchant prize.. fiery is like 7g on my server and agi up to 200g

As an enchanter, I do a lot of fiery enchants. They're okay, if you're looking for an extra damage kick. On Bloodhoof, depending on whether it's a good day on AH, they sell between 20-40g.

I found that fiery was prime for PvE as was icy on my rogue. Icy and crippling poison on main, fiery and instant poison on offhand. Depending on the price of mats, it really determines what's more economical. If you're twinking, I'd say go with +26 agility to your weaps, or maybe lifestealing for shits and giggles.

But if you're just looking for extra damage, I'd take fiery for the sole reason that it tends to cast more often than icy, even if icy is a bit cheaper.

Are you kidding me? It's greedy to want a tip? Hey man I'm lvl 230 in enchanting right now and I've had to use my own mats EVERY single time to lvl up. I've been tipped about 3 times. You do the math.

Fiery is one of the first enchants that people actually really WANT. Furthermore it's not taught by the enchanting instructor so throw another 60 G to the costs. Spending a ton of money lvling up and buying the recipe should definentely warrant a tip. If you don't want to then do it yourself, nothing is stoping you. But me or any other enchanter being greedy to actually want to get back some of the hard earned money and hours we spent lvling and getting recipe's... well give me a break. I would say NOT tiping is being greedy, not the other way around.

well its what ever you want really ofc if you want the dmg you go for fiery... as if you want your target to slow down you go for icy...

and to the "greedy" point above i will say as im an enchanter to 340 atm... thats its true the cost of leveling your skill and the fact that efter you hit lvl225 -250 you have to buy the recipes that ppl actualy wants and that grows in prices all the time... so asking for a tip(even is they bring the mats) is only fair... though i whould say that if they need an enchant from you that is orange(100% +1 skill) then it whould be ok for a free enchant sins you get you point for free...

but in general tipping the enchanter(as well as any other crafter) is only fair... they do spend OWN money and time to get to the point where you are able to benefit from there work...

well i need help to make a twink in WOW all i have so far is a lvl10 rouge with blakend defias belt what is some other gea and where can i find it?

I have a fiery weapon thats fast and an icey thats slow that i dualwield is it okay or should i use only one im lvl 20

Fiery is excellent. Go for fiery - definitely. I have had both.

Well for a quick wepon Firey is the way to go.  It hits more often and therefor does more damage.  But for a slower wepon Icy will slow down your enemy makeing you take less damage.  So for especaly a rogue Firey is the way to go you will double your damage.
