I have been asking people what they think is the best to use and some people say dagger some say sword
can anyone plzz give me a good answer that i can understand
lots of s**t in game so can someone give me some advice?
ok heres the deal, there is no "better" weapon
it all depends how u are speced and what ur going to be doing (raiding, PvP) the best thing to do for PvP is go shadowstep/sub (42) and then the rest in asasination. this spec will work best (imo) with a sword, mace, fist weapon in the main hand and a dagger (for speed) in the offhand. if u spec using the same number of points but in different options u can use daggers and do like 4k crits on an ambush at lvl 70. if u are a lower lvl and planning to be lvling definetly go sword and combat spec as it gives more dmg
i agree with guy above ^^^ but with resilience now, ambush crits r not as great as they could be but pretty much just stun lock them=P combo is ; prem, shadowstep, cheapshot, then eviserate if you have talents in master of sub for the 10% extra dmg its nice =DD
I also agree with the guy above but it depends on the spec and if you went subtley like i did i would go daggers but that is just me.
i am a lvl 24 ud rogue. I am combat specced. I have a mace in my main hand and a dagger in my off. I apply poison to them and I go to town. I feel I kill my enemies alot faster than I did with a sword in my main. But i am not sure about when I get higher lvls. But that is what is working for me right now. i am also trying to decide if i should go with a sword instead of a mace. Shadowstep is better with two swords not with two daggers.Combat spec is better with two swords than with two daggers.Resilience as I have posted many times in the last few weeks killed most Dagger specs.If you really wanna go Daggers then I would recommend you to go Mutilate spec.Daggers are alot of fun I have a set I go Mutilate with,but for any other spec especially for Arena it is better to go with two swords if you wanna have a good chance at getting a good rating.If you dont care about Rating then do as you please because Daggers lack in Arena period with the exception of Mutilate spec.
