i caint choose between a Orc hunter or a BE hunter...i mean BE's look cool n Orcs got good racials n den dey look cool too but not better den BE...i gotta lvl 13 BE hunter n i gotta lvl 5 Orc hunter which shud i choose??

Orc all the way.  The Command ability increases your pet's damage done by 5%.  If you arn't interested in increased damage (sux 4 joo) then go BE.

Orc, you'll thank me later.

FFS choice the class that you like best, racials is just a bonus!!!

if choosing for looks I can't help you, if for stats, orcs are okay, extra pet damag and increased personal damage buff are both good, of course extra pet resistance and a spell breaker are nice to

trolls  are the only class that a hunter gets full advantage from though,

no really bad choices, I like my BE hunter, even if it is a prissy premadona

BE's make great Mage Stalkers, especially if you go MM for Silencing Shot. It gives you four ways to hurt their mana.

• Silencing Shot
  

With these four, Mages/Warlocks/Priests are forced to stand in slack-jawed awe as you kite their stumbling corpses. Keep them stunned with Concussive Shot, and lay down Frost Traps every now and then just to piss them off after you've cut off their mana pool.

I forgot to add, if you're going BM with a focus on your pet, use an Orc, and if you're focusing on BM for attack speed, use a Troll.

at 70: I'd say orcs are good (best for BM hunters)

tauren - stomp is nice for just one more stun to help run away with (can be interrupted)

I love my lv 52 BE hunter and the mana tap for the mana you will need... i mean dont get me wrong if you want the 5% increase from orcs...go ahead...but i am a BE and thats how it is.

ye i got a 62 BE hunter MM and its really go for those dang targets that rely on thier mana (drain there mana with viper sting)

mages:no mana cant really do anything

pallys:drain and silence them till there oom no bubbles no healing XD

locks:if a lock is oom he will probly use life trap but then he might get weak and get a little mana use drain mana siphon life etc... he will just rej so just how can i say this.. kick his ass? XD

Druid:is oom will just shapeshift

priest:well be fairly easy with no mana but it matters on the skill of the priest


Rogue: ugh... well they dont have mana XD scatter shot set down a freeze trap etc..


Warrior:will probly be the hardest class for hunters (my opinion)


shammys:multi shot his totems drain his mana!

I chose a BElf myself, more for the looks than anything. I'm happy playing to my likes (and i dont hate myself for it).

As Crobos said, if you want the BEST class for a hunter, it's a troll! Not an Orc! If you like Orcs, go for them, if you like BElves, go for them.

Arcane torrent has a limited use, at lvl 70 i can take somthing like 161 mana off a target every 30 secs with mana tap. With all three charges, i can gain close to 500 mana bak when i use torrent, as well as a 2 sec silince, which has more of a spell interrupt use than an actual silence (unlike many other interupts, it doesnt lock out a particular spell school for 4 or 6 secs afterwards).

I wont really be looking at using that on a mage tho. Mages can cause difficulty in pvp and the idea is to stay at or close to maximum range, that locks out some of a mages abilities (frost nova, acane explosion, blast wave, etc). Arcane torrent only has an 8yrd range. If you get within 10yrds of a good mage, youlll end up rooted to the spot, with an ice lance soon to follow.

no go BE because 5% damage by pet dosent do alot but the two spells you get by a BE will help

^ 5 percent is alot.    go orc for the racials and there bad ass. not to mention blood frenzy  witch u can use with a trinket so lets say ur atp is at 1500 at lvl 70. so at 70 u get over 250 atp for 15 secs  so now ur  a 1750  and a 2 mon cd  thats helpfull.  ur healing is efected but if u do wat ur suppose to do u wont need to be healed. mana tap is nice but if ur so worried about draining mana ur gona end up dead neway. and u can always use a pot if u lose mana.

There are Argument at my Guild that BE are possible Worst race for Horde Hunter. Reason is they do not have good racial that help lot in Hunter.

Sorry, but most of th time racial skills determine the outcome of the battle. And Blood Elf hunters will take it in the butt compared to orc and troll hunters, at times tauren too.

orcs are better by far they have good racials for hunters and their strength is good. BE just looks all pretty and fluffy :)(no offense to BEs out there) . but if u think be looks kooler go with it. its ur decision.

Troll hunter= Markmanship talent
Orc hunter= BM talent
tauren= Survival talent
BE= ska igentligen inte vara Hunter.. det ända bra me BE e att dom kan sno mana.

Well, why not troll hunters? They have increased expertise in thrown, bows, and guns. Isn't that something good for hunters?

I got a 70 BE hunter and love him. Beat orcs, beat trolls. It's all in what you like. Each race that can be a hunter has it's advantage or otherwise that race wouldn't be able to be a hunter. If you get what i'm saying.

I would personally say that Orc is better for Beastmaster hunters, and Blood Elf is better for Marksman hunters. I've faced both many times in various battlegrounds and PvP situations, both on my 70 Warrior and 66 Night Elf hunter. Troll hunters are particularly nasty, but I find them easier to kill than both BE and Orc hunters.

So, basically, it's up to you, depending on what spec you're going for. The racials of the Orcs and Blood Elves each provide different benefits. Increased damage and higher racial stamina for Orcs make them excellent for Beast Mastery, while the Mana Tap and Arcane Torrent make Blood Elves really irritating when combined with Scatter Shot and Silencing Shot. BLood Elves also have more racial intellect, which is helpful for a bigger mana pool for MM hunters. They don't have as much stamina as Orcs, which means you'll have to make up for it in gear if you wish to go BM with a Belf, which can get expensive.
