now i here 3 different good builds that use frost on is 17/0/44, 40/0/21, or all frost, wich is best? oh and i probly got the numbers on those builds rong. but u get the idea

I think you can all frost if you want to survive in war or battle ground. but if you want to be the best in a duel (PvP) you can use full in arcane. OK good luck ^_^

I personally think all frost is ridiculous.  0/0/61? Might as well go full fire or full arcane...does anyone do that? nope lol.  but I think 2/11/47 is a sweet spec.  For one you get the damage of fire as well as the survivability of frost. or even going 18/0/43.  but it all depends on your style and if your gonna be raiding what classes/specs are gonna be in your group. 

I think 17/0/44 is the most balanced for PvP and arenas.... but i recently messed with 40/0/21 and its been great... my frostbolts crit for ~3.8k without Arcane Power and 4.5 with AP. Just make sure to freeze them before you POM or it hits for a weak 1.5k. Ice lance also crits very high from this build, critting in the 2k's. And if you have time to cast, pop Icy viens and frostbolt + POMfrostbolt... if either crits, thats 5-6k dmg :D, if both crit, 7-8k!!!


This build works best with an Enhancement shammy imo,
Bloodfury/Heroism + Icy viens = 1.6 sec Frostbolts
(and ur chill effects make them easy targets for the sham to feast on :P)


The survivability from cold snap and the ability to kite and do dmg is why I've chosen this over POM pyro.
