Okey here goes. I got a rotection paladin who just got the MT over our second karazhan group in my guild. We picked a warrior as the OT. k Cool.3 weeks hve now past wihtout a single tank piece droip until yesterday. We downed moroes with 8 man and guess what, the belt droped. I thought that it would automaticly go to me but noes.
The raidleader said " I guess both of you want it so roll..."
Okey we rolled and ofcorse i lost, would have been surprised if i won with my terrible luck.
Now i didnt say anything i just said gn and logged since we were calling it anyways.
Do i have the right to be pissed? I mean ever heared of fucking PRIORITY?
Maybe if i got some "gear" i would die as easily and we could have some fucking progress, what's the point of giving gear to a off tank before the main tank? Its not like he's "utterly fighting to keep him self alive" when fighting trash Z_Z, sure he tanks maiden but what the fuck...

If you have personal priority on rolls you are tooooooooo far involved in this game, It should be simple :tanks roll for tank gear - healers roll for healing gear.... holy crap what a novel idea
its up to raid leader really. if your guild is hardcore then MT would've got the item but mediocre ones tend to let people fite over their own stuff.
in my raid an epic necklace dropped, i had green and the other hunter had an epic one. he got it..

My thoughts on this is that If you have 1-3 MT's playing that only the MT's should have a NEED for such items...
Perhaps though You were in it as a MT but not holding enough agro and a slightly better "tank" stepped in as a Offtank to hold down agro but no one wanted to tell you that you sucked?
People in WOW much like in the real world have a hard time seeing that they are not good. I mean look at American Idol?
Lastly I must say that if you have a Raid leader doing (Master Loot) he should get to decide who gets what. In a Group Loot mode just hit Need and wait for the Roll....
Well it sounds like your raid leader is weak, I would nerf the guild. Unless your In a loot hungry noob guild, Mt does have prority for progressions sake. Gearing up a tank in Kara is insane, tank items have legendary drop rates. My raid has DKP/Progression rolls, most rolls require current item research to get the best canidate for the item. But if ya really want it and have been looking for it you can drop a dkp bomb.
