NEW! Wrath of the Lich King Talents! NEW! Project Lore 2.2
If you had a choice would you want to live in the virtuale
World of Warcraft? or..do you just prefer playing it?
Personally i would want to just keep playing it, and live in reallity. but if i had to live in WoW i would want to be bloodelf rogue...i am acctaully a Human warlock..and i enjoy it but..if it were a true situation..i wouldent wont to be a dark kind of denomic person that nobody likes. I would be a Blood elf becouse they are clean and keep themselves neet..and also becouse the Horde seem to get more respect. I would be a rogue becouse..well this is kind of personnall, but i have a really f*ck'd up life and..my parents are abusive..and beat me..so it would be nice to be able to hide somtimes..lol...stelth..
So would you like to acctauly live in Azeroth/OL..or just continue playing it?...and if you could what class/race would you be???
I appaligize for any spelling error's....
I would choose to play it rather than live it. However, if I was forced to live inside WoW without all the chatter, I would choose either a Human, Blood Elf, or Night Elf and not aligned with any particular faction. I would appear 'yellow' to you. ^_~ I'll probably be living on the coast of Stranglethorn Vale on some tiny island with some giant turtles, teaching the few that stumble on my island new fishing techniques.
I thought about being a Tauren, but I'm a human being. So imagining myself making love to a Tauren female doesn't seem very attractive... /raises eyebrow
You know what I mean? 8|
It seems nice now.....and fun, when I think about it, but I would probably miss my life now......
In all honesty, when was the last time your character took a bath? Or ate at McDonalds (unhealthy, I know)?
But if I were to live in WoW I would probably live in Nagrand. Great scenery, as well as non-hostile monsters.
Oh, and it would be fun to shoot fire out of my hands...
EDIT: I like this thread......
I'd rather just play it. If I could bring family and friends with me, well that would make the descision tougher. It's a lot eaisier to make money in WoW than in real life. Plus I can go weeks without eating (yeah I know, missing out on some buffs), and I'm Immortal (I always come back from the dead, and I never age). I'd probably still be my human rogue, and live somewhere near a lot of night elf women ;)
Well this is interesting, I think if I lived in WoW then I would have to be a Shaman (self res). I'm a Draenei priest right now, but somehow in WoW I would want to be a Blood Elf or Human (best looking to me), and train myself in the shaman ways....hehe if that's possible.
Come on man...light it up.....this only a game.
I'd prefer to play it, due to the fact I'd hate to be ganked 10 times every day until I get high enough to dish out the beatings.Dieing over and over doesn't sound fun...and imagine old age...
'Ah, what a beautiful mornin-GAK *You have died peacefully, release?' run back, then die of old age again ^_-
But if I were to live in the game I'd be a NE hunter, I love their city and it'd be nice to have an animal friend around with you. Also like the ability to kick a lot of ass with hunters :D
Dying repeatedly would be traumatic. And just because you can come back from death doesn't mean there's no pain. All that running around would be tiring. I doubt that Dreanei would be as attractive and would be kind of scary if encountered. Maybe even elves. And something like a tiger if encountered in real life would be scary enough, but the beasts in the game aren't even the scariest things, and to come face to face with them... I like the safety of the computer screen separating me from Azeroth.
The real thing that should be taken from this thread is that Eminex needs someone to call social services, or get him counseling or something.
I would rather play it...you know having to level up to 80 wouldn't seem that fun, and having to do all those quests...lol
and then! having to kill mobs to gain some rep w/ others, not my kind of life, besides, i would probly die more than 50 times...
Like Ginseng, i would be one of those guys that stays on an island, i dont know about STV, but it is a nice place...
If i did live in it tho, it'd be kinda hard finding a girl, you know what i mean, like all those guys that play chicks as their main, and others who have a female twink...
if I was in real life wow I'd be VERY confused. I'd do all those quests and be the hero of westfall, then 10 minutes later they'd be cheering another guy for it I'd be like WTF I was pretty sure it was ME who killed vancleef. Ha yea getting killed by snake trap would be traumatic :) I'd be a pally or shaman if I was horde cua they r the most honored and respected by everyone
It would be best if one could just visit/vacation in the WoW world.
Living a life surrounded by gnolls/defias/murlocs/etc.. and without indoor plubing is not exactly a dream environment.
But it would be fun to try it out for a week long holiday maybe. Like visiting the renessaince fair except you are a part of the action.
not to mention some of the laws of physics that dont seem to really work well there ..
peons building houses but never finishing.. etcetcetcetc
nah .. ill just play it :)
I gotta say, it would be interesting to be able to take multiple hacks from some giant ogre wielding an epic axe, and still live. And not only that, but be healed within minutes. Honestly, get your leg chopped off, and within several minutes its reattached again. Would be fun. Gotta say, id rather live where i am now though.
I wonder what their football league would be like (/ponders the thought for several seconds)
Undead Warrior ftw
come to think of it. id love to walk around for days feeling rested ;P
WoW sport:
"OMG! I've got the ball!!!!!"
*pops sprint, evasion, CloS*
"OH NO YOU DON'T!"
*hamstring*
*Mortal strike*
"Hurry! Somebody get the ball!! He died!"
Essentially, it's a WSG game
Oh, and how do you find your body if the Fel Reaver squishes it?
camping in nagrand... thats the way to live right there
no , having a hydropower plant in nagrand .. that rules :P
I would rather play it as well. WoW is someplace we all get into to be "somebody" we're not in real life, well at least for me.
If I had to choose I'd be a NE druid resiting in a nice simple fishing village called Booty Bay as a fisherman hanging out with the goblins and drink with the adventurers coming from Kalimdor and hear their stories. Then when I'm bored I can roam around STV in cat form looking for something interesting to happen, or just find a quiet area near the river to do some fishing, or look for brawls in Gurubashi. I like the tropical forest theme of STV =)
if i could i would live in IF...nice cozy place..thats always warm...freindly dwarfs and gnomes to greet me when i get up in the moring and then...of do some stuff for people..or what i ever...i could work in tinker town (as an engineer) kill rats for fun..go to the bread lady for food..just you know....chill
Take this thread one step further:
You live in nagrand and spend all day working on the pumping station in zang marsh. You come home to dinner which is some spicy crawdad your wife cooked, (wow lots of stamina for 30 minutes). Afterward you sit down at the computer and play the game called human for a couple of hours.
In this game you have to dodge 18 wheelers, run from mobs wanting all your money and jewelry, spend all your paycheck at the grocery store buying food your kids want, then watch your wife hearth to the mall to spend your paycheck for next week.
Hmmmm................
Could you imagine if there was a video game like Human, where the goal is to work, and make your family happy, and pay bills, eat, sleep, go to the bathroom... wait, that's The Sims. It'd be kind of ironic for the humanoids of Azeroth to go questing all day, come home and play The Sims for fun.
living in wow wouldnt be bad but then i couldnt use a comp, not invented yet
Well you see there are so many bad things about the world of warcraft it'd be a nightmare to live there.
List of bad things in WoW:
Burning Legion
Scourge
Blood Elves (Kael'thas's ones)
Naga
Murlocs
Giant Spiders (arachnophobia ftl)
Furbolgs
The fact that no matter what, people will always try to kill you.
But I'd love to be a Night Elf Druid because my main is one of them and it'd just be so cool to be able to turn into a Moonkin or a Bird it'd rule!! and people would ask you to help them alot which I get alot cuz although we cant hurt multiple targets much, we can nuke the living breath out of one mob VERY quickly.
OOOH heres a question: You know them Unleashed Hellions on Quel'danas? They can warstomp right? So does that mean that they were once tauren cuz they kinda look like tauren in a mutated form.
and who agrees....the felblood male elves sound pretty hot lol
and i'd also love to be a warlock cuz then you cud enslave a huge demon lol
Hm, I'd rather play it, since my characters seem to go threw alot of pain... What with fighting creatures all the time... If I was in it though, I'd definately live in the Aldor place in Shattrath - near Nagrand, beautiful scenary. Or on one of the those floating rocks, it could be liked a garden and you could ride you mount off it. :P
Come to think of it, what would if be like to put a pet gryphon in your bag?
I Think i would rather play it cose me being a warroir it would suck getting hurt all the time in raids and instances
it would be like...
SMACK there goes my arm
HEAL my arm is reattached
SMACK there goes my leg
HEAL leg goes back on
-_-"
I would rather live in WoW cuz human life is too simple. School work and than retire. I would be a rogue gnome cuz i can stealth and stun lol.
As cool as WoW is I have a theory, just a theory mind you, on why most people would rather just visit WoW and not live there.
We are creatures of habit, we have grown up and become use to our surroundings. The main reason we do not want to live in WoW is the massive change and culture shock. We believe that our advancements and technology is superior and it has certainly made life easier for us, better is another question.
I would guess that if we lived in WoW and were asked if we would like to visit or live in this world, most of us would just say visit. Comfort with an area makes the area seem like the best, even if something better is easily accessible.

Sociology 101 there =)
children..wow is a big problem for people that can't have a life and also play wow..why is it that hard not to spend 1 day in front of wow..and just go to the park..or a club.or something..no one will give you back the time that you lose in front of the computer
Afterward you sit down at the computer and play the game called human for a couple of hours.
Haha, that's fabulous! ^_^

Yea and whats more funny is people actually do do that now -
The sims
I would live in WoW, only if i could bring my family, friends, and dog ofc. I would definaly be a Human Rogue, not the evil, dark type assassin rogue, but more like someone who is just plain sneaky. I would definatly live in Nagarand on one of those floating islands, probably would have to get a shaman to pull a couple of em together tho :), but for now, through a computer is just fine for me...
Wait, why did people make SIMS if we're already playing it? You know, instead of playing it on your wii, just go do it in real life, since SIMS is an imitation of real life... what a weird world.
I sort of assume my toon doesn't feel pain. So I guess I imagine it would be a deprivation of the experience of life, but with immortality (so long as the game continued). But what a limited immortality. How does one create art in wow? Sorry you can only make another purple shirt. I imagine many chat threads would stray to how cool the real world used to be, the foods, the people, sex, the freedom, just the feeling of wind on a nice day.
Well if I were to live in wow, I would hope new worlds would continually open up, and graphics be improved upon, and new emotes added. And the keepers of that strange realm continue to maintain the servers, and pass more powers of creation to the toons.
No doubt about it, stay in the real world
