OK, so how exactly does one acquire this stuff?

Theres gonna be alot of needin for those sunmotes that drop from the sunwell raid dungeon because theyre used for tokens [along with armor drop] to buy those sunwell tiers plus theyre used in recipes

hope this tier is worth the hassle because in the past i was goin for the dreadnaught warrior gear then BC came along with its Lv 70 uncommons to mock the high Lv 60 stuff

The way I see it, this might not be so bad. Well, save everybody needing the Sunmotes. But as far as trading in gear from other specs, it could work. I mean, how often is gear sharded because no one can use it? And if there happens to be someone who needs the drop and someone who needs to trade it in (which I'm sure there will be) it's just like in early game when everyone's rolling on greens and blues just because they can wear it and it has slightly better stats. I dunno, maybe it'll work.

where do you get the tokens to buy the gear that yrma sells?

To get the gear, you need sunmotes.
You get sunmotes from the new raid, whic his called Sunwell Plateau.
The raid is on the Isle of Quel'danas.
No one has gotten through Sunwell Plateau...yet.
