this is one of the best healing trinkets in the game right now, almost identical to memento in long fights were you are chugging alot of pots.
It's actually better than Memento assuming you're potting on cooldown. Memento works out to be 20-25mp5 depending on proc, and the Stone is up to 40mp5 if you drink a pot on every cooldown

The way I figure it, a super mana potion restores 1800-3000 mana without this trinket equipped and 2520-4200 with this trinket equipped.
Anyone know if this trinket can be equipped while having the old alchemist stone equipped?
In order to make this stone you must have an Alchemist Stone already as an ingredient to make the Redeemer's Stone.
You will need to be Exalted to buy the recipe.
Mats are:
1x Alchemist Stone
6x Primal Life
2x Nether Vortex
The effect won't stack but they are both unique, not unique-equipped, so it may be possible to make the Alchemist Stone again and equip both Stones.
It says pretty clearly in the tooltip: "This effect does not stack." So no... it's only +40%, no matter what other trinkets you may have...

making this trinket consumes your already existent alchemist's stone in the process. im not sure if a normal alchemist's stones would stack if you made another, but i personally would rather not farm for mats.....again. anyway im a resto shaman on my server and im about 3.5k rep away from exalted hoping to get it tomorrow. i havnt seen anyone on my server with any of the exalted gear so im hoping to be one of the firsts :O

assuming u pot a Super mana pot on each CD
if u get back 1800mana without a stone, u get 2520 with it a bonus of 720 "free" mana. Which over 2mins is 30mp5
if u get back 3000mana without a stone, u get 4200 with it a bonus of 1200 "free" mana. Which over 2mins is 50mp5
So at worst its 30mp5 chain potting, at best its 50mp5.
Surprise Surprise its a average of 40mp5 in the long run.
One of the BEST healing trinkets at the moment, and its not difficult to get.
The actual average can be higher than 40mp5 if you use more than 1 mana pot every 2 minutes. How can you do that?
1st mana pot 30s in
2nd mana pot 2.5 minutes in
3rd mana pot 4.5 minutes in
boss dead in 5 minutes
total mana gained on average: 2880
2880/5/12 =48 mp5
Of course if you dont use your mana pot that early or you dont use a mana pot for the last couple minutes of the boss fight, the mp5 is considerably lower.

Just got this, bought the two nether vortex off of the AH and farmed the primals. So worth it!
Does anyone know if you can make this and another Alchemist Stone? (Guardians/Assassins/Sorcerers) It should be possible, but I just want to double check before I get all the mats, drop skinning, get it to 375 and notice myself...

You cannot. You use the +15 stats to craft the new trinket. But you can always make a new +15 stats trinket as well (not worth it unless you're a druid or a melee shaman, I think).
It is if you care about off specc gear.
can anyone read the above responses before they ask the same question over and over again??? Obviously not! But the simple fact is why would you want to use both alchemist stones together? The other old alchemist stone (+15 to all stats plus 40% to pots) is trash... if your still rocking it you might want to save some badges and get the Essence of Martyr, or something comparable.
But the Redeemer's alchemist stone is definatley worth making, super sweet for any healer :D I LOVE IT!!!! Really easy to gind the rep if you make sure to do the Shattered Sun dailies on the Island and in the Outlands (hellfire, netherstorm, Blades Edge, Nagrand, and SMV) you can get it in a week. I still had to do a couple heroic Magister's though.
You can get the recipe from the Quartermaster on the Isle once you hit exalted.
The old Alchemist stone is crap ? Are you out of your head ?
Even without the +100 healing on this trinket it would still be one of the best trinkets for healers in the game, i think you would only replace it with the trinket from BT.
Its no good for trash or short bosses, but when you start doing long boss fights it is superb. At max you can get +50mp5 from this trinket and the old one.

is it possible to get this at lv66? i have maxed out alch tho to make it only requires 350.

Not really, but the NPCs will refuse to give out any quests but it is possible to enter normal MgT.
I jut droped tailoring with all pre Sunwell patterns for this thing, it is without a doubt worth it. In long ass fights it is superior to ANY trinket out there, get this, you wont regret it.
I am so close to getting this!! Got exalted yesterday - just need 4 more Primal Mights and 2 more Nether Vortexs. Nether Vortexs are about 250G each on my server, very expensive. I have looked around and I think this may be the best healing trinket in the game - 119 +healing as opposed to Momento's 118 +healing.

I have made this stone, but there is 1 question i'd like to ask. I't sais that it requires 350 alch.. so if i remove my alch for another profession.. will i still be able to use it?
I think it's funny that you need 375 alchemy to learn the recipe to make this, yet you need 350 alchemy to wear it...

Dont be a nublet, 7mp5 over a 10 min bossfight is about 840 mana which is a max for a priest of about 9k total healing while the 119+healing will (for the same efficency, i.e. renew) be more than the 7 mp5 if you cast at least once every 9 seconds... frankly if your not casting every 9 seconds you may ws well not be there! Mp5 gives you more mana BUT more healing means you have to cast less and so use LESS mana for any given amount of healing. Work out what is right for how you raid and your gear, dont just assume that mp5 is allways better like a dumbass with an IQ lower than the spirit on the old alch stone.
If u think bigger heals means less healing in a raid then ur wrong. When u have more than 1 person healing a tank bigger heals are wasted and become over heals. Its not like ur going to top off the tank and magically hell stop taking damage. You cast a heal and the no big suprise u cast another one. Mp5 is way more important.

What about Paladins "Flash of light" if you have enought +heal you can cant 2,5k heals so you have mana "with the proper use of pots" to cast unstopable until the end of the fight.
with the 1,5 sec heal you may be the best healer on the raid so the +heal is not useless

and then make comments about the raiding stats who someone needs
I don't know about priests since you only have one HoT, but as a druid bigger heals does at times does mean less healing, if I can pop a triple stack life bloom and and rej, even on some raid bosses (unless there is the unexpected spike damage) I can sit back and just pop a LB once every 6 seconds, and rej every 10 seconds. Less +healing means I have to pop on regrowths to help keep the tank up more often.
850 to 900 hps just from 3 LBs is not that bad and about 1000 every 3 seconds from Rej is also not that bad, that works out to be about 1184 hps on the tank depending on damage in.
And since (from mostly spirit) i have about 320 to 350 (depending on raid buffs) mp5 while casting (have to love Intensity http://thottbot.com/s17108 I have well over 700 spirit in raids)
I'm tempted to switch professions on my druid to alch for this. :p

Ok, so you have your 375 alchemy and wearing this trinket...but if you unlearn alchemy?Will this trinket be automatically be taken from your character sheet to your bag?or maybe you'll be able to use it but without having any effects from it? or will it work just like warlord/high warlord items,like,once you've reached the needed rank,it doesn't matter if you'll fall to rank one,you'll still be able to use it even after taking it off?Just curious to know if you'll be able to use it even after unlearning alchemy
if any item says "requiers this and that" it means that if you are NOT "this and that" - you cannot, i repeat - cannot use it. think Frozen Shadoweave Set: requiers shadoweave tailoring. drop it and you cannot wear the set anymore.

this is what happens, no guessing, fact.
if you unlearn alchemy, this trinket will stay on you BUT it will not do anything. If you are looking at your charectors gear, it will be red, like it needs to be repaired, but unrepairable.
Attention, everyone who lvls alch only for this trinket - beware. 350 alch is not enough. It takes 375 to craft this trinket and it takes 350 to wear it.
Since you cannot lose 25 skill points, the true requirement is 375 alch.

KK Peeps listen up; After getting Xalted you gain LIGHT'S SALVATION as the proc.
This will increase heals by 220 and damage by 75 for 10sec. Dont know how to link this ability/proc yet but will find out....enjoy
