is it just me or is this kinda weak compared to moroes'?

mehbe for a JC alt gettin into prot.. or struggling for uncrittable for some ppl but id much rather have the 57 stam from commendation of kael. or the MASSIVE dodge on moroes'
even tho this lasts twice as long IMO

This trinket is way better than Moroes Pocket Watch. 42 def rating gives u 2.8% avoidance. Duration of dodge is 20 secs which is twice as much as moroes. As to Commendation of kael you can't really compare with this because these are completely different trinkets.

Can't wait until I can get my hands on some of the epic gems for this trinket, the def and dodge are better than anything else I can get my hands on. (btw why does thot say it costs only 100g to make when it's easly more than a thousand?) >_>;; They are always off...

Does the cooldown on this trinket share the cooldown with the pocket watch, and would it be good to use this trinket with the pocket watch in an avoidance gear set?

Crafted this figurine on my enhancement shammy, initially just for fun for offtanking/whatever purposes, but now i kinda wear it pretty often and whenever i feel like , and especially pvp (!!!).

The on-use of the trinket is just great! What makes it so good is the 20 second duration.

The added dodge rating may not seem a lot, compared to for example moroes' trinket, but this extra dodge is just what pulls you trough the fight when you have that nasty rogue or warrior against you - or 2 or 3 for the sake of it. It feels much like a hunter's deterrance especially when you equip a shield as well for the moment.

For those of you thinking this trinket sucks think of it this way.

Defense, whether you are a druid tank, a paladin tank or a warrior tank, you need it.  For some of these classes, for example a druid, you would rather have dodge and agility and etc., but you still have to make the defense requirement.  This helps people reach the 490 or 415 defense they need without using tons of gems, enchants or equips that would otherwise be replaced with +block, stam, agility, dodge or parry equips, enchants or gems.

In other words...
this could be a better improvement to some people than other trinkets depending on your other equips and where you get your defense rating from.
