its about time they did something to improve the Alchemist Stone, +15 all stats is a bit wank really

  To be honest, how many classes truly need all the stats on there? For a caster, it's usually only intellect and to a lesser extent spirit and stamina. With the extra lasting power from pots, I'd say it's pretty great.

      Depending on your spec/class and current +dam, spell haste can be better.

IMO increase the effect of all potions/elixirs by 40% this is better than just mana and health pots

Are you joking? "Crit-Free Mages". Yes because 63 spell damage is absolutely terrible..... This + trinket from Hex Lord or Skull of Gul'dan is the ultimate trinket combo. I have 1100 spell dmg, hit capped with 33% crit unbuffed and this trinket is freaking huge to my dps boost.

Anyone know if this works on warlock healthstones? There are different grades of "Healing potions" such as major, lesser etc.Makes me wonder if all health type pots in general including healstones get the 40%

it did once upon a time, but a few patches ago they fixed it to only work on pots

1200g 30 badges and a week worth of doing tons of instances and every daily every day. But I got it!!!!!!!

So Worth it, Even as a mage for the Potion proc. I don't use potions very often but when I have to reach for a Super health potion I am always on the brink of death so this really helps out.

+63 spelldamage is one of the highest stats I have seen on a trinket. As a mage I will wear this most of the time, - together with crusader. I used the old one a lot too, - with mad alchemyst potion, it really brings hp and mana up! Allthough I changed to a +damage or +crit trinket in order to make more damage. Now I don't have to do that anymore. This trinket is the reason of why I do all the dailys and run magisters one or twice a day. Really looking forward to getting it!

who's rep do i need to get this recipe?.

since my fav wow activity is soloing strat/baron ( for the horde but also for fun), i have to say this trinket is for me. Baron fights need high dps but he does considerable damage to a mage , even 9 lvls higher with +10K hp and pvp s3. so a health pot is needed in most fights. old alchy stone was a must there but i had to leave aside a +dam trinket. now i dont.....

Can you make one of these, then make another Alchemist's Stone, and equip em both? Does the effect stack?

This trinket with Mad Alchemist's potion would rock !! 2310-3850 each mana and health. I haven't tested but I would hope Mad potions qualify as a healing and mana pot.

Tested this one as a Warlock (with imp. Fel Armor)

Without Alchemist's Stone
2873 Heal, 2383 Mana

With Alchemist's Stone
3936 Heal, 2643 Mana

Mad Alchemist's Potion proccs are little luck based, so Heal/Mana gains may vary ±1k...

Doesn't work with Warlock's Healthstone, doesn't stack with the old Alch.Stone.

Did you test with and without Fel Armor, does it stack with the +healing you get from the armor? Judgeing by your numbers it only got the 40% increase instead of a 60% (health only) or 20% increase then 40% increase again health only and that represents Fel Armor and then the stone. However like you said the mad alch pot is random between two set numbers, so would this work on say a dreamless sleep pot? that should give you an exact amount of health/mana so it might be easier to calculate.

idd it's truly awesome and i'm slowly making my way to exalted only to make one for my shadow priest...

I know, people will declare me stupid but I made this stone before the healing stone for my holy priest.
The + healing bonus on the other stone is very nice but as a priest I must be able to do some quest solo and the healing version of this trinket is not good for that.

The downside is that it takes forever to get the 30 badges just for the 2 Nether Vortex.
Lucky for me, my brother, a little gnome warlock, helps out getting the materials to make all the parts for both stones.

i am wondering if 2 of these will stack? i made one today and am farming the mats for the next one.

It's Unique, don't bother.

You might be able to use two different types of stones. The redeemer's stone still adds 40ish to spell damage.

It says Effect does NOT stack

Ya my prot paladin will be able to use the Guardian's Alchemist Stone along with this one when I am soloing or just want extra threat.

You CAN have different stone.Om my druid, i got redeemer and sorcerer. The stats stack, but not the potion effect!
