Hello, i need to know what gear i should be wearing at lvl 40. What stats do i need on the gear? What is more important stats or armour? and if u would be so precise to say what the name of the gear u advise i would be very thankful. Plz add shield and swords or maces.

Im not the greatest speller in the world... shit, i prolly spelt "speller" wrong. And yes, by "prolly" i mean "probably". But why do ppl spell words that are already given to them wrong? Yea... although thottbot is very helpful, it is still a database, not just a Forum. Use the database for shit like this, use the forums for more specific questions that cannot be answered thru the act of SEARCHING.

Don't mind the post above mine, some people don't understand questions and they go off on tangents. At lvl 40 for a prot pally you should be looking at plate gear. I haven't looked into a lot of plate searches but from what I hear, that most good plate gear doesn't drop till near 45. What I did notice is that the PVP drops are nice, so if you are at lvl 39 still which I hope you are, you should definatley try and run the Arathi Basin for a bit and try to save up for the gear there. If you are using a shield you would want to run through the Scarlet Monestary Cathedral, after killing Scarlet Commander Morgaine you have a good chance he will drop the best shield for that level range. I'm level 37 already have mine, I'm just waiting to use it. Once I hit 39 I'm gonna spend a good week or so trying to get all the good plate gear, so when I do lvl, I'll be ready to go with my mount and all.

get items that proc when you are hit like truesilver breastplate and shit... but dont get mark of the chosen the +25sta only kicks in when u get healed to full and the +25int... well its pretty much useless

lets not forget u need sta for the aoe ginding.you should also get the highest level spike u can for your shield. i have a 61 prot and i have alot of gear with defense rating (for more blocking) that way they take dmg not only from holy shield,bos,ret auro but the spike to.an when redoubt kicks in with holy sield my block is up around 80%.you also will want some +spell  dmg gear or enchant for your concecrate(yes i know its probally spelt wrong)
