First off... SSC isn't a newer instance and the only leatherworking patterns that drop from there are the t5 look alike boots and belt. This came out with the patch 2.4 and is linked with the Sunwell.

This is a sunwell trash drop. Its BoP and will be highly saught after considering the stats.

"This item is the BEST chest piece for rogues currently until more of the Sunwell loot table becomes public and has roughly 23 DPS more than T6 chest piece for rogues not taking into account gems and enchants." - Alzeimexia

Also, looking at the mats you will see that they aren't "too" bad. This is the chest peice that Blizzard intended us to have and is right on par with the Bladed Chaos Tunic.

For those that didn't catch the mats they are as follows.

40 Heavy knothide leather
24 Fel Hide
6 Primal Might
6 Primal Nether

And once again I would like to remind you of basic tips while crafting this now. Primal Nethers are no longer BoP, The Primal Mights will be easier to obtain if you go to a transmute master and last the Fel Hide is easily grinded of the demons in the ruins around western Netherstorm.

The chest is BoP while the pattern is BoE.

This would be the best leather chest out there? Even a warrior would want this sooo bad... (me myself)

Well, i won't lvl leathercrafting to get it.. gonna go with something a bit less über.. :(

Oh HELL YES. Thank God, I was beginning to worry that Leatherworking was the wrong profession, but wow... if I ever manage to get my hands on this recipe, it will be a gigantic improvement. Wowarmory rates it as the #1 leather chest. :D

This is gonna be at *least* a few thousand gold, though... but at least the mats are relatively cheap. :)

Defenetly a perfect chest piece. I am a rogue and I already passed on the T6 chest item token a couple of times. I WANT THIS! :D Willing to pay 5k gold on this pattern, it didn't drop for our guild so... with my luck, it will not drop any time soon :(

this drop chance of this pattern is again lowered after 2.4.2

now it seems to be a very ,very ,very rare drop

for most Sunwell runnning guilds

Even as a hunter,I'd love this leather gear. Though I have solid purples elsewhere, I STILL use the breastplace of rapid striking for the 40+ agility, 40 ap, 20int, and the +20 hit. I'd give up the extra mail armor for these terrific stats in a blink.

Get gladiator's or something.

Merciless is WAY better than rapid striking.
