the reason i quit was that i just got sick and tired of everyone being a dick to the new guys. All i'd hear from others were condescending talk to new players "Stupid Noobs" "quit trying n00b you'll never make it" "n00b you suck". Finally i just got sick of immature little kids being jerks to new players so i said to hell with this crap. I'll go play something that welcomes new players. hence the name "retired paladin"

hehe i think ive canceled my wow account 3 times now, first started playing at at launch, came over from playing Everquest for 4 years

hay i came across this game from my boyfriend and he buddy... i left EverQuest for this game and i will not go back XD

your all kind of missing my whole point. The reason i left wasnt for drugs, i left because people were assholes to the new guys. I left for games that people were nice. IL2 Sturmovik 1946, I have yet to find someone who has said anything negative to me, a brand new guy, or anyone else who is new. Everyone has been welcoming and very helpful. Its much more enjoyable than hearing stupid n00b and retarded n00b all the time.

lol.... well my comment about drugs wasnt about leaving for drugs. Just stating that its LIKE drugs. And yes, that feeling when u beat down an overgeared opponent or getting ganked in STV/badlands does get ur adrenaline goin...

Well this is the thing about being called a nub. At some point in time, everyone is a nub. Shit, if i was to go back in time and see how i played when my pally was lvl 10, id call myself a nub. But, thats not the point. The thing is that u gave in... you took critism and the complaints as a negative and basically fed the ppl that kept callin u nub. For me, i took those words as motivation, eventually fukin um up at 60 =D. Either way, if u can quit WoW w/o that urge to go back, id say good for u. I'm sure u got much better things to do.

its just a game i dont feel the need to get up to level 60 and "pwn" every1. just play. any1 who calls u a noob is no higher than 15 yrs old. just laugh at them.

you must play on a RP or a PVE server... good since you wont be gettin ganked. As far as gettin to lvl 60, um... u'll still get "pwned"... by 70's. And the whole thing about laughing when they call u a nub? How do you laugh when ur last on dps, a shitty healer, cant tank for crap, or dead? Hope ur nubishness doesnt get u camped... cuz i sure as hell enjoy camping nubs

wow is so god damn addicting because it has a system of constant rewards.
do a qwest- gte some honor, some gold or some gear.
beat a baddy- get some xp, some gold and maybe a drop
own in pvp- gte some honor (which= gear)
everything results in something else to get you playing or trying out ur new wtvs.

Everything u do in WoW results in other things u have to do.
