Just killed skarr yesterday. Not too bad a fight. I'm a LVL 70 Moonkin in PVP gear. Have 10.2k HP, 8.1K Mana 913 spell dmg, and 16.2k armor. Here's how the fight went for me.
Here's how the fight should go ideally.
charge up a starfire, then throw up MF, IS, and Trees.
at this point he's on you. Throw up an immediate bark skin.
Then from here you'll want to go to wrath spam and keep your dots up.
make sure you have the Celestial Focus talent so your wrath's are 70% uninterruptible.
Remember to throw up bark skin again when its up for that damage reduction. I also had an argussian compass to use. So I popped that as well. I used my innervate just to be safe and also blew a health pot. I finished the fight with him dead and me at 30% health or so. Mana was no where near an issue.
He dropped Orb of Deception and Stonegrip Gauntlets. Camping out some more in hopes of some more orbs to put on the AH because this first one is for me. XD
