So Blizzard released a new hero class called the "Bard" class.
This is basically a Guitar Hero - hero class.
The talent tree is divided into Punk Rock and Metal and something else.
Abilities are called things like "Total Riffage" and "Face Melter".

This is either going to be awesome, or it will totally destroy World of Warcraft as we know it.
Oh yeah, and Wrath of the Lich King is going to come with a WoW themed guitar controller.
Also, Taurens use cowbells instead of guitars.
And then, shortly after I posted this, I found out that everybody already knew. Lol.

Bard is completely plausable in MMOs... but not the way that the joke laid it out. Bard is in other MMOs, mainly as a utility class. (Big buffs, little damage, little healing) I don't see it fitting in the WoW universe though.
Yeah... and did you see that Molten Core game? The sound is amazing! It exists!
if this class is truely coming out(released on april fools day so i doubt it) i would seriously have to quit the game and go to eq2 or warhammer online or something maybe even runescape or super mario
This started as an April Fools joke from blizzard.
But since then they have received many many positive feedback messages on it and as such they have decided to add it as a new class for real. It will be obtained similarly as the Death Knight which is through a few quests.
If you need proof check out the Bard class on WorldofWarcraft.com they have updated it since April 1st with more information.
It leads to one of two ideas.
A)A very very elaborate and elongated April fools joke.
B)Or A Joke turned Reality by positive feedback.
Giving that Blizzard is a professional gaming business I believe that option B is more likely then option A.

Lol. April fools joke. I would only ever play a Bard if the Bards played similarly to Everquest bards. That of course is to say, this were truely going to be a real class, which it isnt.
